i haven't seen ANY of the games you mentioned except for soul calibur II for the gc at my TRU
Ahhhh..another terrible experience going to Toys R Us after the metrotown crap I had to go through today.
After my shift ended at 3:30, I started heading directly to the Broadway TRU from SFU.
Everything was smooth until I got to the commercial station. Now, I don't visit Vancouver often, but damn, there is just so many people (and some looked strange).
The commercial station was horribly set up, since it had no "Bus Loop", and the bus stops are basically scattered around the block. I had to walk all the way around to finally find the boarding stop for 009 bus.
When the POS bus came, it was friggin small (was a "short bus", with the left rows having only 1 seat, and the right rows having two), with 2x its capacity in people rushing into it.
Inside the bus, it was jam packed, with massive amount of people getting in and out every stop. I was also surrounded by annoying ass kids that shout and cry and wouldn't stfu, and when I finally got a seat, the dude next to me smelled like crap.
Anyways, so there I was, looking anxiously at the passing intersections to be prepared to pull on the "stop string". When I finally got to TRU, the store was not as big as I was expecting.
Sure, I admit, it had the largest variety of games of the three I went to (Coquitlam, Vancouver, Burnaby), but unfortunately, there wasn't any I was interested in.
THE WORST PART WAS: THEY DIDN'T HAVE SOUL CALIBUR II!

..I went up to the cashier to ask her to check stock, and she said none of the TRU in Canada has the game available (wtf?).
So, disappointed and wasting an hr and 15-min of my time getting there, holding my

ing breath almost the entire bus trip, I ended up buying Super Monkey Ball 1 and Super Monkey Ball 2 for $20 total to justify the trip.
The only other game that interested me (that I didn't have) was Need For Speed: Underground 2. Other than that, basically the same games as the other ones I went to, but with 5x the stock of the TRU in Metrotown (worst. TRU. ever).
