Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

What are the chances of me finding a game that was added to the front page in February?

I'd like to find Silent Hill: Origins for the PSP at $5! I mean, is it like Kmart and Target that clearance items are eventually, or in this case about 7 months ago, kicked out of the system?

I don't know if this is all that amazing, but I picked up a copy of Tales of Symphonia for the Wii for $15 this week. Can't remember the exact price or if it was clearance, although it WAS in the clearance bin. Just throwing the info out there in case its remotely useful.
 
Has anyone seen any of the Wii 'exercise' games on clearance at Toys R Us? Also I saw in the OP that Guitar Hero games (with guitar) have been on clearance for ages...has anyone seen any recently?

Sorry for noobish questions.
 
Just picked up red steel 2 with motion plus for $17.xx. clearance Wii games are supposed to be 30% but this rang up 50% off at my tru.

I'd definitely still like (as well as other people I'm sure) a list if anybody can find one or has one though... My TRU doesn't have a clearance bin, they're just randomly strewn about in the normal game sections and it's a pain to hunt through them when I have my 7m old with me.

Actually, Amazon had these for $25 not too long ago. Never picked it up. Can't bring myself to pay that much for an action figure that I'd never take out of the box (and given I paid $11 for a huge Master Chief, even $25 is too much).

And lastly, I guess it's also because FF13 was so "meh" after all the hype and anticipation. It just wasn't a very good "game," if one can even call it that.
 
Very nice. They're having a buy 2 get 1 free deal right now, 9/19-9/25. Anyone know if these work with pre-orders? I want to get DR2 out in the 28th and NBA Jam out 10/5 and get whatever free.
 
I wonder if a triple stack of offers would work on clearance PS3 games, Buy 2 get 1 free on games under $19.99, buy 1 get 1 40% off on PS3 games and 25% off clearance games. I am guessing probably not

Been out of the TRU loop since the 1st Halo coupon, which titles would work on this and when do the promo last?
 
I want to know that 25% off clearance is stackable with b1g40%off on ps3 games

I wanna buy 2 copies of green day rockband. A copy cost 45.

So 40x2 = 90 x .25 = 22.50
then 90-22.50 = 67.50
then 67.50/.50= 33.75

33.75 - (3.37 x 4= 13.48) = 20.27

So finally 33.75 + 20.27 = 54.02 plus tax

Did I get my math correctly?

It's usually just Friday/Saturday. One of the earlier posters seems to have gotten the 25% off so I am guessing it is already in effect.

Not that I care being ridiculed for actually mentioning a discount, but yes you are right. Prinny was $18.75 & it is a nice looking premium edition. I was looking around for it at a decent price & am very happy to add it to my collection.
That Dante figure looks awesome for 7 bucks after coupon. But if you don't want to use coupon & want to pick online, its available at clearance price.

Yes it started today. Used it alongwith 5 off 25 coupon couple of times.
 
Don't want to sound stupid, but WHAT clearance is on sale? Everything in the store, including video games (360 for me)? Or just certain things? I saw somebody posted something about Wii/DS games so I'm just making sure it's everything.
 
Where are you guys finding the video game figures on clearance? Are they in the R-Zone electronics department, or out with the regular toys?

For Xbox 360(or any platform), you have a B2G1 going for 19.99 & under.
Also there is a 5 off 25 coupon which can be stacked with above 2 offers

Exclusively for PS3 games, there is an additional B1G1 40% off discount which is reported to stack too but not 100% sure on that.

Lost Planet 2 360 Reg price $34.98

Used the 5 off $25 and got the extra %25 off. After some credit I had I got it for about $11.xx

Realy wanted the Red Steel Bundle but apparently some jerk bought their last 6 copies yesterday. Damn hoarders!

I think you misunderstood: he was telling me that the Video Game figurines (that I asked about) are located within the regular toy section in Toys R Us. He was not referring to anything thread related.

On that note, I did go to my TRU, picked up a Marcus Fenix "Batsu?" on clearance. It's like a caricature figurine, kind of a rip-off of a Dunny figure (if you know what those are). Came out to 5.23 after the discount. They also had Dom, but he looked nothing like in the game, and apparently they also make a Locust Grenadier, but my store didn't have any. I also grabbed some Halo Mega Bloks figurines, they are not on clearance, but are included in the Buy 2 Get the 3rd free on construction toys. They are basically articulated Lego men, but Spartans. They are sealed in a foil bag so you can't see which one you're getting, roughly $2 each after discount. Good for the knick-knack shelf :D
Never saw the Dante figure others mentioned above, but they did have at least one of the FF dudes for 29.XX on clearance, though I didn't see which one.
 
Stacking all of the promos do work. B2G1F for $19.99 and under with 25% clearance with B1G1 40% off ps3 games with $5 off $25 coupon. Selection kind of stinks with these limitations. My toys r us has little to none ps3 games under 19.99 and in clearance. Basically four titles of dark void, two titles of hannah montana, and two titles of Pure Futbol. Ugh. Nice to know that in the future we can expect more of these promos to stack. Hopefully, better selections next time.

There's also the buy 2 get $10 off promo that ends 9/30. I got a quadruple stack of discounts on 3 $19.98 PS3 games. The 1st game rang up $9.98, the 2nd rang up $5.99 and the 3rd $0.00.

I don't think it's worked like that in the past, the games have usually had to qualify for all of the deals independently-- i.e., it has to be BOTH a clearance game and under $20 for it to stack. (if the discount knocks it down it doesn't count)

Does b2g1 work for clearance games that are above $19.99 before the 25% discount, but below $19.99 after the 25% discount is applied?

It won't work. The game has to be under $20 to begin with for the multiple stack with B2G1 under $20 to work.
 
If only there were some way to know what clearance games qualified for the amazing stack that ends today.

Ah well. I may take a trip over there knowing all of this to pick up a few things i'm missing.

That's what I've been sayin... We need either an employee or somebody with some extra time to find out what qualifies. I spent some time looked around yesterday but it's a huge pain since they are all in with the regular games (no bin, no special shelf) so you have to hunt for the "clearance" stickers and half the time they're hidden.

Unfortunately I couldn't find 3 titles I'd want (and would be worth it). The closest I found was Saboteur, Tekken 6, and SW: TFU (but I already beat it, I'd be buying it to go back for more achievements). I'd have to search around some more to see if I missed anything.

I thought I saw the list of games for the buy 2 get $10 off posted earlier but I can't find it now. According to the sign that promo has been going on since 4/25/2010 so I thought this was old news.
