Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Didn't find what I was looking for, but did find :360: Fallout 3 for $6. Didn't get an extra 30% off, though.

my local tru didnt have SH!T i mean nothing for ps3 they had a lot of xbox 360.....are they putting what they already have on clearance or they bringing games in? I noticed they had a ton of boxes unopened

The really cheap games were stickered at my tru. The warhawk bundles rang up $19.xx but they adjusted for the sticker price. It probably varies store by store.

MAJOR price drop on the clamshell Xbox Live 4000 point cards - they have dropped to $25.98 each. I picked up the last four at my TRU for $103.92 total. Damn, my Visa bill is going to bite me in the ass next month with this and all the trips to Target I've taken are added up. :bomb:

I can also confirm that the shelf tag for the clamshell Xbox Live 3 Month cards indicated that they have been dropped to $10.98 each.

Please note: No additional discount (such as the current 30% off at TRU) was taken off the 4000 point cards when I rang them up at the register.

The clamshell cards for Xbox Live 12 month subscription are at $39 according to the shelf tag. The clamshell 1600 point cards were not in stock for me to check the prices on those.

Be sure to look behind the glass cases for them at your TRU, they were kept at my TRU, at the bottom of the locked glass case behind the electronics counter.

While there I also picked up Fear 2 (360) for $4.20, Fifa Soccer 09 for $6.00, and NBA Live 09 (both 360 versions) for $6.00 each as well.

Picked up 2 Batman Arkham Asylum Collectors Editions on Xbox 360 for $29.98-30%=20.99 and Soul Calibur Broken Destiny for $19.98-30%=13.99. Also had a $10 off coupon for any purchase over $50!!

I think this is a new drop as it was still stickered at 49.98, but rang up differently:

PS3 Motorstorm Pacific Rift 29.98 (it was 20.xx after the 30% off)

Picked up NCAA Football 08 :ps3: for $6. Looks like most of the good stuff was cleared out before the prices dropped. YMMV
 
Found RB Classic Rock track pack for $2.10 ($3-10%) today. Had to dig through a mess of clearance/used games and almost gave up. And I thought $5 for Track Pack Vol 2 at Family Dollar was a deal.

Soul Bubbles (DS) - $5.00 (marked down to $3.50) - as this is a $5.00 game, YMMV on getting the extra 30% off.

Kirby @ Old Spanish Trail, Houston: Got Scene It Lights, Camera, Action bundle, C&C Red Alert, and Dirt 2 for $4.20 apiece. A few things left, but not much at the lowest price tier.
 
Just came back from my local TRU store. All PS3 are cleaned out while only some Xbox 360 games are there. I ran through the Xbox 360 section and came back with (prices after the 30% discount):

I was tempted to get Guitar Hero 5 for 18 but passed.

Yep, Toysrus clearance prices are nation wide, and the tags are not updated most of the time. Its not like Target where prices are YMMV.

Yes, the prices should be uniform. If they've got it, at whatever price in the case, it should be whatever the other CAGs have reported.

And I believe Ghostbusters was still above $10 (360)... I want to say it was 12.59 or something when I checked, but I might have it confused with another title.

I bought one today at 19.98 before the discount. I think the other poster had mentioned it was mismarked and the cashier did an override on the price.
