Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Yeah. Was happy I got Dirt 2 for 4.20, but then I saw how much I could make off eBay for the game. I think I got too greedy.
 
If you have a DS, you might be interested in Zubo, which is down to $2.10. It is a rhythm/RPG hybrid published by EA. Average review score on GameRankings is 74%, which is pretty good. I got a copy today but haven't played it yet.
 
Went to 2 TRU (while I was out at a few Targets) and was hoping to find a few PS3 games (Bioshock, Fear 2), Tales of Symphonia, and Clubhouse Games. Couldn't find any of them -.- Ended up getting Phantasy Star Portable for $14, but was sorta iffy on that.

As a correction Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2010 was $19.99. The 2009 edition came out to $4.00 before discount.
 
Didn't find the 4000MSP clamshells anywhere. All I ended up with was the Capcom Platinum Hits Triple Pack (Dead Rising/Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition/Devil May Cry 4). Rang up at $17.98 before the 30% off.

If they don't let you and the price adjustment is a big one, you could buy the game again w/ the new price and return it brand new w/ the older receipt and get your money back from the old transaction and get the game on discount. I believe is 45 days w/ receipt to return an unopened game...

I mean, for basic play they are fine. The drums on RB1 aren't wireless though.

What system was the RB1 set for?
 
Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 clearance items were much better than the PS3 offerings, though there was a fair amount of garbage (Bee Movie, Hannah Montana, etc. The PS3 clearance is overpriced still.
 
has anyone seen super punchout for wii on clearance at a b&m? it's on the tru website for 39.98, but doesn't show up the 30% off clearance game and its $7 s/h.
 
Rock Band 1 bundle rang up at $20 even for me, don't know why it was different. Special Edition only refers to the fact that its the bundle as opposed tot the game, and not a special bundle right? Also found Marvel Ultimate Alliance Platinum Hits for about $18, and live vision camera for $6.99.
 
Some new finds at a store that just marked the games properly. Only the games from this drop were marked though, luckily, as other games are scanning cheaper than marked.

I scanned the UPC, it also scanned $20 for me. Some games don't apply the 30% off automatically and that looks like it is one of them.

Clearance video games ending in an '8' or '0' will be 30% off the sales price. If you can scan the game's barcode at the price scanner alongside the endcap, the final price after the discount will be reflected. Unfortunately, the 30% off deal is supposedly ending tomorrow (10/30/10).

Muramasa is being sold for $19.99 at Kmart and was clearanced at Sears awhile ago. This is a great game that no one shouldn't miss out on!

I did swing by another TRU recently and picked up the game guides for Fire Emblem:Radiant Dawn and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for $1.40 + tax each after 30% off clearance discount.
 
I thought I got lucky when I found a Pinball Hall of Fame for the 360 yesterday. Turns out that some thief resealed it expertly as it had those flaps on the plastic while inside was a CD-R for some shit band called "Archaic Scourge." They even wrote a copyright and all rights reserved in sharpie on it.

I can't believe that the game is $2.10 yet some jerk still had to go steal it. Oh well, hope TRU believes me when I tell them some idiot stole the game. Usually they do believe the customer, right? I mean I still would like my 2 bucks back. :)

Got all these for the 360:
Qubed (Lumines Live, E4 & Rez HD) = $6
Prince of Persia 2008 = $10
The Last Remnant = $4.20

Mostly excited about Rez, though. $10 always seemed a bit much for that game, now I got that & 2 other games for 2/3 of what it would've cost on it's own : )

How many of the collectors editions clearanced out? I will definitely check out my local store for the batman collectors edition, still haven't picked up the game and seems like a good chance to.

I just got back with a RE5 CE for the PS3... out the door for $22.xx. I know I saw a 360 Batman AA CE but I guess someone beat me to it.

I'd love to have gotten the PS3 Batman AA CE but would have settled for the 360 version.
 
No batman collectors at my local TRU. They did have 3 copies of RE5 Collectors though, but I'm not ready to buy that game again(already have regular and gold editions).

Don't know the SKU, but it's an outer cardboard box with the full retail Plat Hits cases for Deadrising, Lost Planet and DMC. MUCH better than just one disk with all three games.
