With all this talk and people hitting up TRU this week I've got a question. I've never bought a video game at TRU and I'm wondering do they have a good selection? do they get games on release day?

Depends on your Toysrus but it's pretty safe to bet that they have most of the more popular games and almost none of the release day ones. Like they'll have things like Skate, Force Unleashed, games that somewhat recently came out but they probably won't have Socom or Deadspace. They didn't have older not so popular games like Dynasty Warriors 6 at places I checked. You'd have to go and see but the selection is average, though it might be dwindled by the B2G1 deal they've been having all week.

It's definitely dependent on your particular TRU. The one near my college absolutely sucks... they have a bunch of sports games and crappy movie/kids games. The one back home is much better, with a better selection of games.

They dont have some of the harder to find RPG types..

Overlord

Etc.. but do have a big selection.. M rated games are harder to come by.. Silent Hill Homecoming has been reported as being in VERY few stores.

TRU can be hit and miss. Some have a decent selection, some don't. M rated games can be hard to come by.
