Ok,
I am somewhat new to the router connections. I know mine is up and working and I have a very uniqu setup and use a USB wireless router for my PS3 off my laptop (lets leave that to another discussion).
My bro just got his PS3 and bought this router:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=1312731&SID=
It will arrive in just a few days.
I found this link for him to get him started:
http://boardsus.playstation.com/t5/...Vegas/Router-set-up-for-dummies/td-p/29962473
My question is at the end of that link they mention Port forwarding etc. Is that fairly standard or maybe unique to their setup? Mine I did not have to do that. I can use voice etc all fine. I rarely if ever get dropped.
Any insight on that, and if its a similar process for a TP Link?
Thanks to everyone/anyone in advance that responds.
