Trade 3 - Extra 10%, Trade 4 - Extra 20%, Trade 5 or more extra 30% - GS/EB Start 5/7

Its YMMV. The first time I did this deal it stacked with the coupon and the store card for 50% extra. Today I could only do the store card and the 30% at a diferent EB

Hamsterz Life 10 - 14 after bonus
Super Paper Mario 30 - 42 after bonus
3 less than 2 dollar junks

Picked up a mint used Pokemon Diamond for 24 bucks with the coupon.

I just traded 5 ps2 games today. Here are the prices before bonuses:
Marvel UA: $9
Juiced: $4 ( Not too bad since i got it for $1.99 at BB)
Champions of Norrath: RTA: $9
True Crime: NY: $2.50
Rygar: $1.50

$33.80 total after bonus.

I would've given you three dollars for Rygar. Maybe you should make a trade list instead of getting raped by Gamestop. Hell, estarland.com gives $3.50 for Rygar.
I don't think they will do the bonus $10 with the older systems anymore. Just my thoughts.

Here's my marvelous trade-in:
Dragon Ball Z Budokai PS2 - $1
Siren PS2 - $2
Armored Core 2 Advanced Age PS2 - $2
Armored Core 2 PS2 - $2
Arc the Lad Twilight of Spirits PS2 - $1
All before bonuses in case someone wants to update wiki
God those prices are terrible.

Seriously, I can't get onto either gamestop or EB games. Is anyone else having this problem? The homepage loads, but when I click on any like the links on top appear, but that's it. Nothing else appears.

I traded in some fuckin shit today.

AFTER 40% bonus:

GOW2 - 35
Gurumin - 8.40
Crackdown - 28
SC: double agent - 12.60
Gears of war - 33.60

total - 117.60

The only one I lost money on was Gurumin.

So you needed to get the 30% bonus to get what those games a really worth.

Again, some horrible prices. For me, the first place I check is EBay (even though they rape you on fees) to see what I could get. I'm sure you could have gotten better prices selling it there or to a fellow CAG.

here are some traded in prices, will probably have a bunch more on sunday.

xbox 360:
lost planet $20

ps2:
wwe smackdown vs. raw 06 $6
ghost recon advance warfighter $7
matrix path of neo $6
black $7

The PS2 prices aren't bad but taking 20 bucks for a 360 game that's only been out for a couple months makes me sick. You could've sold Lost Planet for at least 30 bucks in the Trading forum.

Yea, I know I probably could have gottan more online. But after the promo and edge card, I got $28 for lost planet, so it wasn't too bad.

More ps2 trade in values:
barnyard $6
ncaa football 06 $6
jak 3 $5
devil may cry 3 special edition $8
mlb 2k6 $4
need for speed most wanted $7
ultimate spiderman $6
urbz the sims $5
mortal kombat sholin monks $7
star wars battlefront II $8
power rangers dino thunder $5
burnout 3 takedown $6

LOL Trading in 4 other games with the SPM to get back most of the price of the ONE is a deal? In what world? Bizarro?

This deal sucks, just like GS always does. I can't wait till the end of the month and that big sale though with many games @ 50% off. Now THAT is an ACTUAL good deal from them, for once.
Ugh,

I give gamecrazy my business more and more. I wonder how long it'll be b4 they (eb/GS) purchase them.
It won't happen. GameCrazy is owned by Hollywood Video, which is owned by Movie Gallery.

True, Rhino was owned by Blockbuster, but Rhino was losing money. GameCrazy's posting a profit for the first time in its existince and is due to expand within the next year. GC's becoming more of a threat. Yay competition! I hate EB/GS. I refuse to go in their B&M stores anymore.

Unless I can find one that has Futurama.

being able to play through paper mario and maybe get to register it on mynintendo for less than 5 bucks is a cheapassdeal in my opinion.
Unless I can find one that has Futurama.
It's funny you mention that, Scorch, since the one about 30ish miles from me(usual Sunday trip when I was a kid with my grandparents) had a copy there(complete no less)the last time I was down that way.

People keep saying it's an absolutely horrid game, though because it's in demand, people still want it. I'm hoping that once Comedy Central starts showing new episodes(movies broken up into episodes actually is what I'm hearing now) that they'll make a decent game based on the series.

And Monkeydeew, honestly, unless those other 4 games were copies of the Tom Clancy Trilogy games, you still got ripped off imo.

Gah. That's one that I can't find complete. I don't think i've seen it in stores at all. I've seen everything else that's rare.. Firefighter FD 18, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, The Guy Game, Valkyrie Profile, Suikoden 2, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 2 and 3, Mario RPG.. seen them all on the shelf.. NEVER have I EVER seen Futurama.

I don't care if it's bad. I doubt i'll ever play it. I just want it since i'm a collector and it's one of the very few rare XBox games that I don't have.

I don't think so because Gears and crackdown had no case or booklet. I tried selling SC: DA on ebay, but nobody bought. 35 for GOW is decent.
I was wondering who could we tell to updates the trade in values in cag wiki?
=p

Maybe we should start topic on how much trade in each store give on CAG website ? I don't know ask CheapyD or Mod on this ^___^;

I wish people would demand what they want for their games instead of just accepting whatever GameStop wants to give. So sad to see CAGs doing such un-CAGlike behavior.

You know, it's not so easy to sell your games here on CAG. My tradelist has been up for some time now, and I've only gotten two PMs with 0 sales/trades.

When it comes to selling, alot of people want really "Low ball" prices. It's ridiculus at times.

Weren't you the one who wanted to sell any 2 new Wii games for $105 shipped? Yeah, that was you.

haha that makes me laugh. Thanks for making my night.

I offer low prices and work up from there. How about the offer of a used PDZ for a sealed NBA Homecourt. Talk about a fair deal.

to keep on topic, it is hard getting a cheap ass deal from cag's after trading in a bunch of stuff to GS. its cool if people want to lowball but if you dont get your price, dont mitch and boan about it on the forums, just counter it

Yea I hate when people mitch....

Is there a trade in exclusion list on the CAG wiki? I can't seem to find it. I have a ton of games I need to get rid of, and this is a great deal to do some spring cleaning.

Actually... don't put up with the BS, and put it up on eBay. Sure you'll take a hit from fees, but at least it's drama free.

allow me to add to the complaining about GS trade-in values. went in today to find out about Gears of War. A whole $22 for trade-in! Granted that's before the 40% (for which I'd have to find 4 other games that they'd surely lowball me on), but come on.. they sell it for $55. At least give us HALF the price you sell it for.

you could trade in a bunch of old games (i.e. sports titles) to gs and although you will probly get 2-3 bucks total, you can smile a little b/c its not like anyone is going to buy your madden 03 from gs so its a loss for them.

i had suggested this and also done this with an earlier trade when this deal was new. but that was only because it was worth it to trade in those games (two FFIIIs). I did feel some satisfaction when they took in my worthless 2003 sports games. :)

holy crap, $22 for gears of war.

That says it all about why nobody should ever trade at gs/eb.

I was going through my game collection and found about 50 games that I am willing to part with. All my games are open, discs are in mint condition, and all game booklets are included. These are all Xbox games that I kept in containers so they are in excellent condition. I haven't gone through my PS2 collection yet.

You know, today I went in, decided to possibly get rid of Chocobo Tales DS if they had taito legends 2 in stock. I'm a bit tight on cash, so i figured, a good $16 at least, since it's still a $30 game, squareenix, came out recently, etc.

Nope, offered a sickening $8 for a $30 new major brand name title on a system as popular as DS. I laughed all the way out of that store (also BC they had no Taito Legends 2) as the manager had the audacity to try to tell me that he knew (for a fact) that Chocobo Tales was getting a price drop next week to $20, and the game was "only 5 or 6 card battles anyway, nobody bought it."

Which of course, explained why there were no new or used copies of the game to be found in the store. What can you say, besides GameStop is useless and they need to go out of business, immediately.

estarland.com still offers better prices on some games. They're offering $14 for Chocobo Tales. If you're going to trade in a bunch of games, you might want to shop around first or you might even consider putting them up on craigslist.
