Misleading my ass, you just mean it wasn't stated outright that it was in Canada. Something the topic creator obviously didn't think would matter considering it's in the Canadian forum. I didn't know it would cause trouble either until a bunch of idiots started *****ing in the threads I made.

Anyway, does anyone in Canada even care about Madden? I know NHL is huge around here, but no one I know gives a damn about Madden.

I live right by the Canadian/United States border so maybe this isn't a very good example, but lots of people here love it. Well, I assume so because EB Games was pimping it before release by having like, 50 of empty cases to create hype.

btw guys i happen to have 3 or 4 gba games that my bro bought back from hk, turns out they were fake (surprise surprise), i was wondering if EB employees inspect the games in depth, if they do i think i'm kinda screwed, if they don't woohoo free credit, btw the games are Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Golden Sun, and Sword of Mana

3 or 4 games, for just one game... a sports game that's pretty much the same every year, and drops in price anyway after the next one comes out, which will be in just a year...

Why is anyone excited about this?

Because you could then trade in Madden '07 and get $30+ in credit.
 
Even with the $30 store credit, you probrably would have already spent at least over 10 bucks on each of the 3 games...

Since these are games that are worth at least an $8 trade in value, you would probrably be able to sell them on ebay for over 10 bucks anyway, so unless you got the 3 games for free, you're still really losing out in the end...

Factoring the hassle of going in to trade the games, then going back to return Madden, you're going to be wasting time and losing money on gas...

Seriously, this is not a deal at all...
 
Ya this deal seems good if you want to make a small profit, but if you are looking to keep the game, I would wait two or three months and the price for Madden 07 will drop for sure.

That is, unless you want the game now :D...

...like me with Need For Speed: Most Wanted. The game will probably drop in price in 2 months when Need For Speed: Carbon comes out, but I didn't want to wait so I went ahead and bought it for about $36 CDN.
