hey guys sorry if this is a repost. wanted to post this for a few weeks.
if you trade in 3 games with a tiv over 8$ you get a free preorder.

I traded in 7 games today towards Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash bros and put the left over value towards Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

should have switched your trade in 3 to another trade in 3 with the value at 69.99 then switched it over.

argh, I called eb to see what my games trade in at so I could try to get mass effect, here were my results:

saints row - yay
kameo - nay
nhl 2k7 - nay
lego star wars 2 - nay
tomb raider legends - nay

I didnt expect much from those games, but I thought I might get lucky.

Does anyone know if they take gba games? I have gba pokemon, mario kart and final fantasy tactics as my last resort of desperation lol.

Madden 07: $7 - :bomb: with all the copies floating around, it would have been an amazing opportunity if it was $8, even if you can only trade 2 copies of it at once for the Trade 3.

Wait, quick question: For the trade 3,are you allowed 2 copies of the same game? If so, then I'm all set with Dynasty Warriors (PSP) and 2 copies of Kirby's Canvas Curse.

You are allowed 2 copies of the same title for the first deal, but they may throttle you if you try to do it again. (or at least that's what the nearest EB manager has told me)

i think im gonna put up a blog or a website with all his ridiculous answers/statements/threads/ridicoulousneses hes posted(it might not be a word, but you get it).

which thread of mine? hes pretty much posted in everything. I say if we all send a pm to the moderator, to ban him, maybe theyll listen. or we could all do some searches through all the garbage hes written, and look for any rules hes broken.
I also try not to post much on r fd. ill post in on cag, and wait till I take advantage of a deal, and then post it. think about it, if we were nice and went on r fd, and posted the source deal first, for example, none of us would have been able to get games(and no way i would have gotten the ff hd). it is overun with lurkers and scammer(still has a lot of good people, dont get me wrong), and at this rate cag-ers must unite.

It could happen to this place to, what do we do, start an exclusives club? I mean in theory, the more people that know about the site, the more eyes out there to find deals, but not when everyone is on there just for the deals, not posting deals.
 
You can't ban MJM: a lot of people look up to him, and he has over 30,000 posts on RFD. Most of his posts are spam and redundant, but he does answer everyone's questions, even if they consist of "lol you lucky SOB" and "YMMV at Stooples"

I would put him on my ignore list, but I hold out for the 1% of his posts that are useful. Most of the time I scroll right past his posts.

What irks me most, though, is how he refuses to give his location. Does he think the Staples employees will jump him when he walks in to PM something?
 
great idea chimp, you should make a website like that. :) post the link when you are done!

another thing is that he never tells you what he purchased from the RV 2/30 deals. i think he might be hoarding all the games from RV. he makes people think that he is one of the good guys. also on the EB games threads he just answers questions and does not post the trade in values. last time i said to him "why are you getting PS3 and wii games if you don't own the system?". he always says that he is getting the game as a gift for a friend or family member.
 
from what i've seen MJM on CAG is posing as the RFD one, though i could be mistaken

PS: i remember a while back the REAL MJM came on here to tell us that guy was posing as him, if i find the post i'll let you guys know, btw i just pm'ed CheapyD about securing the canadian board, this is my msg

:?: Hmmm... If someone lurks, what prevents them from posting what they read to RFD? Closing the Can. forum to registered users only doesn't stop someone from registering and lurking. I could take what I read here, register at RFD as a totally different name and post it as if it were mine, no one would be the wiser.

It sucks that someone would do this, but I don't know how you could prevent it, really.
 
almost every Staples thread you find on RFD, you will find this piece of trash in it! MJM is guy on RFD that posts on there non stop.
