I thought that I heard that a recent firmware allows the XBOX 360 to use a USB flash drive as an external HDD. Did you have anything attached to the USB port that could have caused a conflict?
 
nothing at all.

i started with the memory card and it worked fine but i wanted to add a hard drive so i can play co op. from day one the hard driver has screwed up my 360. it wont boot up. it is an official microsoft 20 gig hard drive. i just dont get it. the guy who traded me it says he has another one though. i hope he cooperates with me on this.

Well that sucks, hopefully everything works out for you. You can only play co-op with an internal HDD? I thought that you could use a USB flash drive and it would function exactly the same as if you had an internal drive.:whistle2:?
 
ive never tried that. i only have the arcade system., it does have usb ports in the front though. I really only have like a 2 gig card though.

I found an 8GB flash drive for pretty cheap if you don't mind mail in rebates: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220226

It might be worth trying out a flash drive instead of an internal drive since USB 2.0 drives should be dropping in price pretty soon ;)

Good looking out. I saw it for 12.98 at target as well and passed as my backlog is too large to play all these games. I forsee it dropping under twenty everywhere soon anyway. I appreciate it.

lol....my neigborhood had sooooo many kids. I ran out of a huge bag of candy that I had and didnt get to have any myself. Oh well maybe its for the best.

I had three big bags of the "good" candy and one huge bag of cheap candy (lollipops, tootsie rolls, sweet tarts, etc.) I ended up eating snack size Hershey bars, bags of peanut M&Ms, Twix, and a Reese's Peanut butter cup:drool: It's better to not have too much extra candy laying around since I usually don't eat candy I had a headache by the time I went to bed.
 
I love the peanut butter cups but didnt have any.....i did however have butterfingers which are also good. My candy went in like 30 min and i wasnt running out to get more. My wife and I just went inside and didnt answer the door. lol

Aw man, you're lucky those kids didn't TP or egg your house and car:lol:. My personal bag went in about 15 minutes but I gave out candy from about 6:00 to 8:30 and I had just given a handful to some kids when I saw some teenagers behind them and had to tell them that I had run out. I put out the lights and locked the front gate but I could still hear the trick or treaters passing by :whistle2:(
