Today I picked up the 250GB HDD to replace my mostly-filled 120GB drive on my 360. While I was doing the data transfer I got to thinking; why can't I take the 120GB drive out of the Xbox 360 enclosure and install it in my 80GB PS3? As far as I know, the 360 HDD is also a 2.5" SATA notebook drive.
Has anyone tried this before? I know newegg often has sales on SATA notebook drives, but this would basically be a free HD upgrade for my PS3.
