Transfering pics from PC to Cellphone (verizon)

Anyone know if its possible without having to sign up to pay sites like 3gupload. I have tried taking pictures of stuff from PC or on hand to use as wallpaper but it looses color. Any help is appreciated.

I have Motorola E815 with Verizon wirless service if that helps.
 
If you have access to a bluetooth device, in theory you should be able to send it over bluetooth. This of course depending on how verizon supports bluetooth on this particular device. The reason I say that, is the Motorola V710 when it came out, you could only use the bluetooth option with a headset, nothing else. There were some lawsuits about this and I think they allowed a patch or something that would release that restriction.

So in other words, it should work via bluetooth.
 
If you're phone has bluetooth then that would be the best, i use it to send ring tones from my laptop to my phone and pictures from my phone to my laptop
 
I have an E815 and the bluetooth is verizon raped so you can't send via bluetooth, just pick up a USB cable on ebay and go to www.howardforums.com they have plenty of info in their verizon section.

If you're not planning on sending many pictures just use the vzwpix thing, I'm pretty sure you'll get charged for a pix message each time you use it. (so if you plan on sending more than like 10 pictures ever then just get the cable)

And also if you pick up the USB cable you can fix the bluetooth on the phone.

It didnt charge me when I sent my picture. And that was like 5 months ago.
 
I don't think I've ever sent a picture from the computer to the phone, I'm pretty sure I got charged for the other way around, so that's probably what I'm thinking about.
 
I've got the 512MB transflash card (micro SD) for my E815 and love it. I put pics on it using the card reader in my laptop and then put that in the phone. Using a guide at howardforums.com i figured out how to make my own MP3 rings so I dont have to pay for them. I also have some wrestling videos on my phone along with some other stupid stuff like the Christopher Walken/Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice" music video.
 
Do you guys know of any other free wallpaper sites? I have the same phone as LinkinPrime, and I'd like to find some Street Fighter wallpapers.

I'm thinking of getting a mini sd for my e815 can you explain how to make your own ringtones? are they mp3 or polyphonic?

I tried that site and its a pain in the ass to find something on it. I was hoping someone here could briefly explain or direct link us to it.
