Transformers announcement trailer is out!!!

I dunno.. I thought it was ok for a teaser.. kind of interesting. Teaser's never really show much anyway.

Anyone heard any word on whether they got (or are going to get) any G1 voice actors for this?
 
wtf is an "Announcement trailer"? This is NOT The teaser trailer due out next week.

just telling us, ok get ready for a trailer thats going to be a teaser next week.


i dont know which is worse this one, or that pre teaser trailer that was shown for T3 years ago.

dude your not missing out on much, just a bunch of stock footage of a rocket taking off and going to mars then something in the shadows taking out a rover..

probibly the coolest part was the transforming logo, but to be honest it would have drawn a smile on my face if they used the G1 transforming sound :)

just wait another week dude.
 
maybe they released that cause Spiderman 3 been shown....either way...that had better not be the teaser they were counting down to...it pales in comparison to Spiderman

Dude this is the teaser,, Someone stole the teaser and put it on Youtube.com and Myspace yesterday, it was front page news on all of the Transformers fan boards, The movie studio tried to get it pulled from all the sites, all the fan sites took it down or removed the links, even youtube finally removed it but people were still hosting it else were, I saw it on myspace before it was official, the studio just decided to go ahead and cancel the count down and release it. What you see is the teaser that will be shown on Pirates of the Car. 2 next week when its released...

Alright, first, I just gotta say I'm a fan of transformers, I was even out searching for Primus not 20 minutes ago, and this trailer just sucks. If I didn't already know about it, this would seem like a damn crappy sci-fi movie where aliens from mars appear. If I didn't already know about them, I wouldn't be interested in the movie from that trailer. It would've made sense if this was the teaser for the trailer that was going to be shown the fourth, but I doubt it.
 
i think the producers are hoping that the "hype machine" will cause hard core transformer fans to come see the movie and think they don't need to show us more because the fans will come see it anyways.

Now sector 7 is a transformers viral marketing site so who knows if this is footage form the film but its still pretty sweet to look at.
