I visited at three Targets yesterday and today, and they had the deluxes listed at this price. One store had the Universe deluxes as well, but I didn't try scanning them elsewhere.

And of course, nothing newer to be found, and Walmart had the newest wave sitting pretty at $12.88.

yeah, what's with the crazy prices on small as figs? The Mickey Mouse TF is out now too, is about the size of a basic, and is like 60 bucks. what the hell. I want that one, plus both these "alternatey" figures, but fuck it at that price.
 
awesome news (imho) for fans of the original '86 movie: Stan Bush's "The Touch" will not only be making an appearance in the new movie this summer... but will also be a free download for Guitar Hero! That, for me, is EPIC! I'd love for even more of the 86 soundtrack to be released!
 
So the TFA deluxes have been TPC'ed at Target to $9 for a few weeks now.

All of the Targets I've been to since have not had ANY TFA deluxes in stock, nor have any re-stocks occurred.

I don't know if it's just my area, or Target, or Hasbro. My guess is that TFA production has been shut down.

Yeah...I've also been in a similar situation as well. The Targets I've gone into as of late haven't had any Animated deluxes. Who knows whats going on.

The week before the price drop, there were plenty of deluxes and I found Samurai Prowl.

After, the price drop, though, the shelves were bare. When Target and Wal-Mart have the deluxe prices low, they sell briskly.

The only ominous sign I see is that Wreck-Gar is no longer available from Hasbro online. I dithered on ordering it, but haven't been able to find it locally and now don't know if I'll be able to find it at all.

Sadly I'm in the same boat. Should have ordered Wreck-Gar when I had the chance but now I have to hunt him down. Too bad so many animated voyagers shelf warming that I doubt I'll find one any time soon.
 
Yes!

Found Wreck-Gar at Target today. Also found Universe Hot Shot and Ratchet. I would have bought Ratchet had the Universe figures not been $12.49 each.

Also saw the new Sunstorm/Shockwave Activator packs. If you haven't gotten the original color of Shockwave (and I saw it only twice in stores), the new color scheme is really nice.
 
Hm, HLJ is clearing out it's MP inventory (mostly the jets), and some Encores. I'm tempted, but I already have Skywarp, and not real interesed in Megatron.

Anyone get that MP Grimlock? That one looks pretty cool with the light up stuff.
 
I got an Aldi's food store ad in the mail yesterday, and they advertised a 'special purchase'(meaning they have is what they have) on Transformer Deluxes for $8.99.

The ad showed the first Animated Bumblebee.
 
Thanks for the heads up on the HLJ clearance, by the way. I got some encores. Can't pass up Metroplex for $35 (before shipping), and I had forgotten that I never picked up Trailbreaker and Hoist. The trans-scanning figures are also on sale.

It's annoying that they don't give you a hard and fast shipping price before you place your order, but I've ordered from them in the past and generally speaking the shipping is less than they quote -- at least if you order multiple items. I'll let you know how much my shipping was when I hear. I use SAL shipping and it's slow, but I've never had a problem.

To update you on this, it turned out that my order total was too big to ship by SAL, so they sent it EMS and it cost $75 (around $200 all together). That was a fair amount more than I had hoped, but on the bright side I should have it quite soon. I'm not sure why they can't give you a better idea of what things will cost, but it's still quite a bit less than it would be from someplace like BBTS. Metroplex alone would be about $100 shipped from there. Still I'm a little disappointed since I did order two encore figures a few months ago and they were only $7 shipped by SAL.

Seems Target is starting to CLEARANCE out Universe Deluxes. Went to at least 4-5 diff targets yesterday. Saw them for 2 different prices. One price was $8.36 but I only saw that price at one of the Targets. All the others had them at $9.06 so I finally picked up Ratchet for that price. So is this a store wide CLEARANCE?!

I just got back from Target and they didn't have any TFs on clearance, so I guess it varies.
 
Picked up Animated Wreck-Gar at TRU earlier tonight. If you're in the greater DC area (MD side), they still had 3 at the Mid-Pike Plaza TRU at Rockville Pike and Old Georgetown Rd.

They also had Mighty Muggs Grimlock and Starscream. There was only 1 of each, and I got them, but the 2nd wave of figures is getting out there.
 
Yeah that's a strange SDCC exclusive. It's like saying "right now it's exclusive if you didn't get it a few years ago." Maybe they should have done Blaster even though he's not as popular. If they wanted to go all out they could have done Fortress Maximus for $100. I would fly there just for the chance to get it if i wasn't going overseas while SDCC was on.
 
Went to a couple of Targets today.

Neither had Universe Deluxes on clearance.

Both had Animated on sale, but it looks like they've been restocked with Wave 3 and 4 figures (Snarl, Swoop, Jazz, Sentinel Prime, Soundwave).

Good opportunity if you missed them, but bad if you're looking for the new ones.
 
Sadly my interest in Transformers is all but disappearing, looks like the only ones I'll be purchasing will be from the Masterpiece line. Anybody wanna buy a ton of Animated TFs? lol

omg i will kill everyone at the con for it. Hasbro are such assholes at the con though that this is going to be a ridiculously hard thing to get even at the price. with the last few con exclusive i got them all by trading for other hasbro exclusives, finding people in line who weren't buying them, and/or waiting in line for a raffle number and then waiting in line to actually buy them.

local target store that the battle packs bumblebee and shockwave ,sunstorm and rachet on sale for 4.99 which is quite a good deal since there usally 25 also had all voyagers for 18.88 ymmv

My Target had like no selection. I was able to get a couple deluxes I purchased at Wal-Mart price adjusted by taking in the Target ad.

Anybody know if this is some kinda pricing error? Did they have signs up? It would normally take six weeks on clearance for these sets to hit $6. I hope they didn't fix it today.

Yeah they did have signs up indicating that the figures were $4.99. Don't know if error or not though.

It does seem very odd, but there were signs up to that effect. Although at my store they had a big "$24.99" sign and a tiny "$4.99" sign, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people didn't notice it.
 
Called my wife and told her to stop at Target on the way to work this morning. She said the sign said $24.99 but she scanned them and they came up $4.99 still. So either this is a mistake and they haven't fixed it yet or its just one hell of a deal. Eventhough the Starscream animated is one of my least favs...kids already lost our originals fingers and thumbs...you can't beat the price.

Signs up at the local Targets that they are $4.99. I think its legit. Of course my local targets were all sold out. I think my sister-in-law was able to snag one for us at the White Bridge target in Nashville.

I guess with Easter this week, the stores are running specials. Still those combo Target exclusives for $4.99 is an insanely good deal. I just found a Shockwave at a Wal-mart and spent $21.99 on it.
