Hi Guys.

What I've found is Transformers related and I'm hoping that Linkin Prime and that some of you may be interested. (I know I am but I'm a geek anyway :) )

I'm not really THAT into Transformers. I lost all my old toys as a kid, but I recently bought:

Titanium Two-Pack w/ G1 Optimus/Bumblebee
Voyager Starscream
Voyager Ironhide (Had Voyager Blackout at first, but it was too small for my tastes and I had problems with its hips)
Leader Class Optimus

All are reallly kick-ass. I kind of want that Titanium G1 Soundwave too.. :/ lol.
 
Just saw Radio Shack has two awesome looking xmods coming up. Barricade and Bumblebee with light kits look very cool 49.99. Also just saw an auction with someone on ebay who had Dropkick movie deluxe. It is from the Transformers video game like swindle but it is in the movie packaging. Also does anyone know when we can expect to see 08 bumblee and arcee and dreadwing or the voyager optimus prime and megatron. Thanks for the info on Radio Shack.

For what it's worth, I can also add that the dummy price in the system for the Best Buy promo toy is $29.99. Of course that will bundle down when purchased with a game, but it's high to discourage any standalone sales. With all our promo items, be they toys/tickets/discs, they're either flat out free (0-cents or a penny) or insanely overpriced individually. Working at Geek Squad, I have no business in the warehouse, so I can't sneak a peek at what we have/will be getting, but I'll see if I can ask one of the Media people if they've seen anything.
 
btw, Target reduced their price for the Robo Vision Optimus Prime.

before it was like $24.99.... now it's like $19.99.

i wish they drop on the Unleashed one.

Tonight I found out that, of all places, Gamerush (and possibly non-GR Blockbuster) has the CCG packs for $3.99. Not a bad deal especially if you've got credit to burn.

New three-packs, but only availible in Europe only. You see, I love the multi-packs, becuase it's cheaper and cool to see the background scenery and it's kinda exclusive (in Orlando anyways).
Do you guys hear any rumors or news on any possible multi-packs coming to the states soon?
I want to know so I know what to get on Sunday. What I'm planning to get is Ironhide and Starscream. I don't want to buy two of the same things
 
So has anyone seen the BB Transformers 'freebies' (w/game purchase) ? - other forums seem to confirm it is indeed the "LEGENDS" class Transformers. It would be interesting to see if they have any exclusive figures and/or if they are simply the same legends we can pick up @ the common B&M stores.

Also: Has anyone seen the "transforming" Target gift card? That thing looks pretty cool, but I can't find it anywhere.

their not bad, only 9.99 ....i already have the OP robot in a single 1 so i might end up opening it since i have the 3pack now :lol:

HELL YES!!!! I have a complete set someplace around here (hmmm, where'd I stash em?) They was a second set of dinobot type ones as well (flapjack box turns into terodactyl, happy mean becomse like a stegasaurus).

Why aren't happy meals that awesome any more?
 
Sucks I'm not 10 again. I would be all over them if I was. I had the Optimus Prime from back in the late 80's early 90's with everything but the box. Didn't play with it anymore but it was my only transformer left so I kept it. One day I was cleaning and found it and thought I might as well throw it away. So I did. I'm really kicking myself now. I had damn near all of the Autobots and about half the Decepticons. I really don't see the point in geting the ones now seeing how I'm 22. But it is really, REALLY tempting. I just hope they don't screw up the movie.

I was the same way a month ago about not getting the new stuff. I finally borkw down and am glad I did.

Any word on the toys yet from BB?

Last I heard, the repaints should be out this fall. Ratchet (White/Red), Starscream (G1), Jazz (G1) and then there's Thundercracker.
Since they are showing up on eBay, I'm guessing we'll see them in July/August.

EDIT: Change name from Ironhide to Ratchet.

Ironhide is repainted Red and white?
I thought that was Rachet in Ambulance colors!
I'm buying Ironhide tomorrow and I really don't want to buy him twice!
Also don't forget about Final Battle Jazz, with supposed batle scars and scrapes

Oh my bad, meant to say Ratchet white ambulance with red insignias. I haven't heard about Final Battle Jazz....

I guess G1 Jazz repaint is being called Final Battle Jazz...wonder why? Maybe in the movie, he gets a G1 repaint before the end of the film???

Yeah, becuase in the back of the G1 colored Starscream box there was he picture of Ambulance Rachet.
As to my understanding I thought there 3 versions of Jazz, the normal color one, the G1 repaint, and Final Battle.
Perhaps you are right of Jazz changing his color scheme, like Bumblebee changing his car also...
Anybody else want to clarify?

I picked up the pc version of the game and the code is GEN1 don't know if it is the same for all the versions. Hope this helps. Also the new exclusive 3 pack with poster is a Sams Club exclusive in case anyone is interested.

I have had the Transformers EB exclusive CE version of the game on pre-order but I'm reallllly hesitant about picking it up for 70 bucks. What should I do?

I've read the comic adaptation, but hopefully it won't follow it exactly, as that was just all over the place.

As for the comic, HUGE disappointment - don't waste your time. POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE, DEFINITE SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE ADAPTATION AHEAD.

The art was horrible, the sequencing and story were crap because half the time it was as if they were cutting out parts of the story or at least a few critical frames, and scenes with action were just terribly drawn so you didn't even know which Transformer was doing what...

I DEFINITELY don't recommend picking up either the graphic novel that collects the 4 parts or the 4 parts themselves. But I was hoping you had also taken a look at it to tell me if the 'story' they attempt to lay out is remotely similar to the movie, hopefully not.

I mean, please tell me Buster or Spike or Sparky Witwicky (the kid, can't remember if he has the same name as the G1 comic/cartoon) doesn't seriously just go into a tall building, somehow get on a roof patio 50+ stories up, and just stand there defiantly facing down Magatron in the movie? Only to be blasted off the roof and then caught by Optimus? Plus, if the comic was any indication, there are practically no robot on robot battles at all.

Just in is confirmation that Hasbro will in-fact be offering the Masterpiece Starcream figure as a WalMart exclusive. The item will sell for around $60 in November 2007. more news and images to come from BotCon 2007...and as usual for me 1 open-1 sealed ;)
