You might be thinking of Braveheart. Since Braveheart and Gladiator we're both released under Paramount's Sapphire Series. Both we're disappointing from what I've heard.

I heard Braveheart was a great transfer? The only one I'd heard of being bad was Gladiator.
 
Seems like a lot of shit transfers slipping by lately. Gangs of New York is about to have a double dip to fix the old shit transfer. Which was pretty decent I thought, except for some glaring flaws, specifically the first outdoor scene in the snow where the right side of the screen has a visual anomaly along the edge.
