TRU 20gb PS3 299.98 out of stock online,could be YMMV

what are you talking about? This is for the 20gb model that was discontinued months ago. Besides that webpage has been there at TRU for a while, but good luck finding it online or stores since they don't even carry that model anymore
 
Wow that's a good deal, I thought $379.99 for a new 20GB was as low as they were going to go. I wish I would have waited 2 more months.
 
At that price I would have probably bought one......damn you Sony!
All these choices just leave me with half of what I want.....okay rant over.
Hopefully someone finds one of these and it makes their day.

Little to late for sony! ( for me this year atleast ). I would have jumped on that if i didnt already buy the Zelda Ds bundle!

Huh? The 20gb is disconinued. What are you talking about? The PS3 has been selling very well since the price drop, and they don't have any AAA sequels out on the platform yet. I'd hold you laughing until next year when several AAA sequels hit PS3 exclusively, like MGS4 and Killzone. Ps3 lineup is rock solid next year, and next year will be the year the PS3 hits its stride. Plus PS3 is outselling the 360 in Europe and obviously destroying it in Asia. I wouldn't be so glib if I were, because the best days of the PS3 are clearly in front of it.:drool:

As for the deal, I haven't seen a new 20 GB PS3 in a store in ages. I can't imagine that there's more than a few hundred still in Toys R Us's across the nation, if there's even that many.

Wasn't it discontinued like 2 months after release too?

I'd actually consider getting it just for the BC element, knowing it will likely never ever resurface in PS3 models.

Seriously. I hate sequels anymore. PS3 has some decent new series, I just think meh anymore.
