How long are these prices good for?
Is there an ad where this price can physically be seen?

I was wondering if it's possible to PM the $19.99 at BB and then use the GGC to drop the price down to $14.99. That would be sweet if I can score MVP Baseball for that cheap!

Good until the 19th. If you're getting the PS2 one, just buy another $20 game since they are 2 for $30, so you would get MVP for $15(unless theres nothing else you want).

I was wondering why we got the crappy standee. I looked at the front of the ad after taking it from the managers' office but didn't actually flip through it since I forgot to. Thanks tubtub, good stuff.

I tried that a few times at my BB, but the bastards never let me do it. Even after I explained that price matching is their store policy, not a coupon or other special offer, they still insisted "You can either use the $5 off coupon or the price matching coupon". Idiots. Since the deal I tried, at the time, was from CC, I went there, where they had the cheaper price and took the GGC. I don't know if TRU does competitor's coupons, but they might. They price matched Ace Combat 5 for me back when Sears printed it wrong in the ad.

Nah, we don't take competitor's coupons...just PM from ads.

Not worth it since Tak 2 already dropped in price to $19.99 and the 2 other games are still @ $29.99. Just wish THQ had a wider selection to choose from. :?

Still, 3 for $60 isn't bad. Especially if you can get the $10 gift in the process to effectively make it 3 for $50. It's the selection that is the problem. The Tak and Spongebob games are well rated but all the others are mediocre at best.

So you guys really think we could use MVP as part of the 2 for $30 deal? Seems like the register would consider it a $30 game, based on the TRU receipts I've seen in the past.

ALL PS2 games $19.99 or less are 2 for $30

There won't be any problems if I bought something like say, 2 NFl2K3's for $1.50 each. I wouldn't have to worry about the computer bumping them up to $30?

Just checking in case this deal turns out to have another glitch.

If your a diehard Red Sox fan like me, this is your chance to score both of this years baseball tittles for $30 (the regular price of MVP).

Do yourself a favor and let 2K5 sit on the shelf. I felt dirty after playing it compared to the greatness of MVP. OK, it's not THAT bad and is a good game in it's own right, but I can't see anyone playing 2K5 when they have MVP. Just one opinion.

Good idea; however, I'm planning on getting MVP 2005 and MLB 2K5 for the Xbox... i believe one of them supports custom soundtracks.

If I could get ahold of that coupon... sounds like TRU is absolutely deal-arific o_o

Shadow Hearts Covenant/Katamari Damacy + MVP 2005 + The Incredibles DVD + $5 Spongebob plushy= $50 -$10 coupon= $40

So you'd be getting the games and DVD for about $13 each, and the plushy for $1 o_o

I just wish I could get MVP for Xbox instead of PS2, but hey... I'll deal ;)

damn it I wish I read about this earlier....I just bought MVP for $25 after PM @ BB and I regret opening it....ughhh.....I would've like to score Convenant and MVP for $30....oh wait I guess I could still do that huh.....What games are gonna qualify for 2 for $30?

EDIT: Oh i just read it ALL PS2 games $19.99 and under are 2 for $30.....Also is it official that Convenant Hearts and MVP would qualify for the deal on the same receipt???....

I picked up MLB 2K5 for $12.98 at TRU today (Xbox). I PM CC's $14.99 price and used that $3 discount coupon (from the TRU phone survey)

I'm going to pick up MVP 2005 on Sunday when it drops to $19.99. I'm still uncertain whether or not to PM at BB and then stack the GGC... other CAGs seem to be saying they get hassled trying to do both the PM and GGC.

Too bad TRU's 2 games for $30 only works for PS2. Should I just buy MVP 2005 at BB or just get it at TRU (or PM at CC)?

Just to let you guys know, the way they did the deal in the system, it won't give you MVP as part of the 2 for $30 deal. But if you ask they may override it for you.

So what happened in your case? You get rejected or did they override it for you?

When I asked the clerk, he said MVP 2005 would be okay... But this was on Saturday and he didn't seem that knowledgable anyway. I plan on buying the games sometimes this week.

Funny thing I think MVP feels dirty

If anyone has a TRU that has extra Shadow Hearts: Covenant, could you pick me up a copy? None of the local TRUs here in NYC have any left. More than willing to reimburse you for any reasonable costs. Thanks.

Hey, wondering if anyone can answer this. I was thinking of picking up Yoshi T&G + Zelda Minish Cap for $60 bucks and getting the $10 GC and then using it that same day for another game. Will they ring up my purchases seperately or be anal about it and make me leave the store and return, because the coupon says 'Your next purchase' or something to that extent. LOL, sorry to bother you all with this asinine question, but if anyone who works at TRU could give me some vague reassurance it would be helpful. Thanks.

Worst case scenario all you'd have to do is walk out of the store and come back in.

I tried the same thing for MVP 2005... no dice for me.
Maybe I'll try at another TRU.
Was this coupon in just the sunday paper or all week? Can someone let me know?

Wheres the damn coupon.
I'm pretty sure it came in the mail inside a TRU flier. But then again it may have been a flier in the paper... Don't remember exactly... I've got swiss cheese upstairs...

The $10 GC for $50 in purchases coupon works on green tag items and sale items prior to discount. So you could reasonably spend only $5 on green tag items and still qualify for the $10 gift card. I had no idea about this and had already used my coupon, but I was buying 2 R Type Final $15 each, 2 for $20, and a Robotech Battlecry Xbox $2 green tag, the cashier told me I was 11 cents short of the gift card. So he just sold me some gba accessory for $1 and used a coupon he had behind the counter and it worked. I even used the $3 phone survey coupon, and my total was only $20.68 plus I got a $10 GC.
