This thread is for the purpose of making a new list of green-tagged items at TRU that work for the current 90% off sale. If you need more info, read this thread. I'll sort this and add to it as people post here as best I can/when I get a chance. Please specify system if not exclusive. And please don't use this as a trading forum, PM someone if you're interested in an item.

Note: I'm not including DC, N64, PS1, PC or GBA games. DC and N64 games are pretty much all tagged, check PS1 or PC games you're interested in, and I just don't feel like doing GBA, I'd rather have a thorough list of the consoles only, sorry.

Another Note: Even though the sale is national in theory, all games are still YMMV. I had the same game work and not work several times at different TRUs today. When in doubt, check, and don't make a fuss if it doesn't work. Watch while you're being rung up, and make sure the register screen that faces the customer says "promo" beneath the name of each game; it will then take 90% off the displayed price of each when totaled.

Yet Another Note: All the games that are greatest hits only ring up as tagged if they have a sticker over with the barcode with it's own barcode on it, and only if that sticker is scanned, and even then, no guarantees.

Not a game, but...

Nothing to add but Perfect Dark N64 and Space Invaders GBA at my TRU. Just wanted to give a bump since I read it. Noble effort, OP. Going to hit two more tomorrow morning.
Could you guys also post how much it cost you to buy each game? Thanks.
i'd actually rather keep it to just the name of the game, at least in this thread. i'm not going to keep track of the prices unless it's on the big accessories (screens, etc.), and i don't want price discussions springing up in here. most games are between $1-4, $5 at the most.

Good list, you seem to have a lot covered. The only thing I can think to add is 2002 FIFA World Cup for Gamecube and Spyro: Year of the Dragon for PS1.

By the way, are most of these games WITH green tags or most without? I never saw a lot of this stuff with green tags.

many of them are without. as you've read, it varies by location, but tagged or not, they SHOULD ring up as promo. as always, no promises, just price-check the hell out of everything.

Same question.

I pretty much saw nothing besides shit tons of primals with green tags, I didn't have a list so I had no idea what to have them scan, I guess I'm going back tomorrow with this list and making them scan what I can find.

I think Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is simply a clearance game, not a green tag... I bought it for about 9 bucks last week and people have been reporting various prices, mostly in the 6-7 dollar range, which makes no sense in the context of a 90 percent off sale. So you might wanna double check that one...

As for additions I didn't personally buy these but I saw:

Xbox
High Heat Baseball 2003
MVP Baseball 2003
Slugfest 2003

Have:

Gamecube:

Eternal Darkness - $4.99
Baldur's Gate - Dark Alliance - $3.49
Gladius - $4.99
Zapper - $3.99
Disney's Magical Mirror - $4.99
NHL 2K3 - $2.99

Want:

Anything Gamecube

.hack//outbreak ps2
metal dungeon xbox
harry potter and the sorcerer's stone xbox & gc

and amplitude wasn't green tag for me. I checked at 2 different stores.

8-pack Lord of the Rings Duracell batteries - $1.98

Also, I'd like to know some more about that mountain bike that is green tagged. Is it marked? How did you guys find it?

Just to help those out there looking for GBA Games..

Also there is a 2 pack of turbo shock controllers for the PS2 for $3. They are 3rd party , but you can't go wrong for that price.

Sorry to interrupt, but I have a quick question. If my TRU carries a game that is on the OP list but it is not green tagged at my local store, will it ring up with the 90% off? I assume that it will not, but I was just curious.

Yes, it should. Most games are not green tagged, but part of the sale. Try to keep discussion in the other thread and just game names in this one.
