So the new Kinectimals goes for $60 MSRP? Aren't all of the other first party, Kinect-only titles always $49.99?

The plush is an extra $10, Kinectimals now with bears is otherwise $50. (apparently according to TRU.com, they don't sell the regulation edition however)

this seems like a good deal if you're into Kinectimals with Bears. the advantage with this game versus the original is that you get the upgraded features, the bears, but you get to keep the cats as well. So it's like an expansion pack.

didn't know that TRU sold FAO stuff. FAO toys tend to be high quality (the reason why FAO went bankrupt and had to be reorganized). I remember Patrick the Pup being $300 for the large, $100 for the medium, and $30 for the small.

Snoopy Flying Ace is just full of awesome.

the ability to get a second Kinect game for $25 so that's 50% off there.

How much is the +Bears dlc if you buy it separately? Curious because I saw the original Kinectimals for $19.99 at Best Buy. May be the better route. Wont get a plush..but meh. That 50% off works on any Kinect games right? May have to get Sesame Street and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

you can't get the Bears as DLC. they built a new story campaign and added features so it's not the same as playing the same story but with Bears.

actually yes it is available as dlc. just checked. 1200 pts. 1.54 GB

So if buying the original at Best Buy for $19.99 + dlc = $34.99

TRU actually bought out FAO sometime last year.

I'm thinking about trying to get MW3, kinectimals with plush, and another Kinect game for 50% off. Hoping for a $40 GC plus all the extras.

that's awesome! seems like a better way of doing things. I didn't see the option before when checking the DLC for Kinectimals.

on a tangent, I was walking the Costco aisles and saw Fantastic Pets for $25. I actually enjoyed that more than Kinectimals (comparing demo to demo). It just seemed more fun and the augmented reality part was cool. Yes, Kinectimals looks infinitely better with better graphics. But Fantastic Pets just seemed like it was easier for kids. Kinectimals didn't have enough audio cues for instructions (a lot depended on you reading and telling the kid what to do) and it had that annoying flying animal.
