I might get Alien Hominid and Zoo Keeper is definitely worth the $20 for those who have a DS. But other then that, nothing much really...
 
Thanks benboxer. You have any info on when they'll have another 2 for $30 on $19.99 games? I'd love to pick up Command Mission and X8 that way.
 
Thanks OP for the list. TRU always seems to be the slowest retailer to do price drops - usually one to two weeks behind the others. Nevertheless, Alien Hominid for $20 is a steal.
 
Thanks for the list. Alien Hominid is far from a universal price drop at this point (still $30 at EB), and my local Gamestop doesn't have any. So unless EB drops the price by the 14th, I'll be heading to TRU to pick one up.

Thanks for the info benboxer. Great to see another retailer has dropped the price on Alien Hominid since the Gamestop near me doesn't have any. I guess I'll be giong to TRU then.

Seeing as MMX8 has dropped to 20 bucks at gamestop I imagine it might have dropped the price on Alien Hominid too... guess I'll have a couple of stores to check this week!

Yes, I think it has, I only commented because I work at TRU and was waiting for that game to go down. Driver 3 took forever to go down as well too.
 
checked it out today, they have both ps2 and gc versions of alien hominid.

im leaning tward gamecube, but does any one have opinions about which maybe better? comes down to control i think, graphicly they should both be the same.

I am trying to find out the same thing. Also for MMX: Command Mission.
 
^^^ In reviews I've read, Mega Man X: Command Mission for Gamecube has GBA connectivity that lets you find secret items, although I don't know more than that. It said the PS2 version has a hidden Mega Man X8 preview you can unlock. I think the reviews said the GC version had slightly better graphics, but not that big a difference. Looks like there isn't enough variation to favor either version.

If you get on Toys'R'Us' mailing list, they occassionally send you free $10 off a $50 purchase coupons in the mail. I get one about every other month.
 
All of you must buy MMX8 for 20 bucks, amazing game for such a cheap price, also consider buying MMXCM, its also a teriffic game although short it is very fun to play.

Actually, I don't know how I specifically got on their mailing list to begin with, since I buy a lot of stuff from them and I've been on it for at least four years. I have purchased from ToysRUs.com before and done the follow-up form from BizRate.com. I've also done those phone-in surveys from the store receipts. I also remember a few years ago they used to ask for your phone number when you made a purchase, and that is linked to their mailing lists.

I don't know exactly how to get on it now though. Most people try to get off of store mailing lists, so they will probably be happy to have customers want to get on it!

Their April mail ad I got a couple of weeks ago had a $10 coupon, so you might want to try and get on it before the end of the month. Sorry I couldn't answer your question directly.
 
I hate to bump up this old topic, but I've just got to thank the OP once again. Today I finally managed to stop by my TRU and picked up an Alien Hominid for GCN. I was ecstatic that they still had them in-stock. I was also hoping to pick up the PS2 version as well, but they were out of them.
