Try beating this: (Yard Sales)

Who's The Twitch Now?]A while ago I was at a yard sale run essentially by 2 small boys. I was looking around said:
Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Gamecube = $8.99
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles/Gamecube (No instructions)= $8.99
Ninja Gaiden/XBox = $8.99

That's pretty fucking close, I think you might win slightly though.
and on a side note, I picked up a Sega Nomad w/ battery pack, car adapter, ac adapter for $30. (not great, but still good)
Would you be willing to sell that package?

Sorry, I love my Nomad. I just sit in my truck between classes and rock classics like streets of rage 1,2,3 or shining force or shaq-fu. Way too much fun to let go. Thanks for the offer.

Legally, those parents of the kids (who probably initially paid the bucks for this gba), have the power to make you return the gba. The children are obviously NOT 18, therefore are incapable of finalizing a "business" transaction.

So, let's hope they don't go crying to mommy with your description/license plate number because all they could buy with the money you gave them was a pack of yu-gi-oh cards.

Good deal, though. I, however, to put my consciense at ease, would have offered just a few bucks more for the gba at least (5-10). And no, I'm not kidding...

Ok, maybe I am :p

speaking of yu gi oh cards, im always seeing kids at my gamestop and gamcrazy's trading in games for 5 bucks to get a single pack of cards. i dont get it, but whatever.

Ever hear the phrase "Taking candy from the mouths of babes"?

I'm the first to take advantage of a big corporation selling off a piece of their "intellectual property" (whatever that is) at a cheaper price to make an even bigger profit.

However kids aren't as bright - can't make the same value judgements as adults, and consequently will get screwed every time.

Your bragging makes about as much as George W bragging he gave the rich ANOTHER juicy tax cut.

Honestly, the only think I remember buying from a yard sale in the last 10 years is a Muppets glass for 25 cents. It's the only piece of glassware I own.

Regarding the kids selling stuff, I did something similar. When I was about 9, I sold my NES and games to some guy who put an ad in the paper looking for them. I got about $50, though, so I wasn't nearly as screwed as the $3 GBA kids.

Maybe they used the money to buy porn, and it was totally worth it to them. Ya never know.

thats actually pretty fucked up man, they were little kids, you totally ripped them off, then again i would have done the same
