Now you could get creative and install all that crap yourself or you could buy the shell yourself for $30 and solder the LEDs to the board of the controller that you are putting the shell on and that's a cheap alternative.

I'm pretty clumsy, and my hands shake like a junkie going through withdrawals, and can do it pretty well. The most important thing is keeping the iron clean.
 
Yeah, that's awesome except for the Xbox button and bumpers- too much blue. They should be something less vibrant so it's not as overwhelming with one color. White for those would be good.

But $50? Shit.

Also, I can't find 1000 points worth of available items at Goozex. :|

Well that was just one of the available kits. There's plenty of different controller cases with different LEDs. You can buy them yourself for $30 and install them yourself from some of the sites I've looked at.

the only thing I hear about the Chrome case is that it gives you problems with your wireless range (controller).......which would be a pain in the ass.

My next project is to put a Smoke Black Case (black but see through when LEDs are on), with LEDs at the DVD Drive (so you can see the DVD spinning), Whispermax fans with Blue LEDs and XCM Fans for a total of 4 fans in the front and the side of the chips with a Blue ring of light board....

Its gonna look sweet...
 
Went ahead and ordered the End War bundle, I'll decide what to do with the game later. I might get SMG and Dark Sector from Goozex. Those two games and a headset for $50 is great.
 
That's strange. Are you talking before getting into the actual software? I had to update a few times which then updated the firmware of the remote, but I don't remember it taking too long.

I installed the software and that went fine. This is right after I plugged the remote into the computer. It's taking forever and the picture, if you call it that, is stuck on 10%.
 
That definitely didn't happen to me. I had to update the software like 3 times though.

If it's not moving at all I'd venture to guess unplugging it and restarting the software should be safe. Maybe.
 
Christmas is over. My uncle came over with his wife and son earlier today. We ate breakfast, they left and came back for dinner, along with another uncle who brought his son and daughter, who brought their who families (His son's girlfriend has a new baby and his daughter has three kids and the husband). Shit was wild.
 
I think somebody in the harmony thread mentioned that problem, they said it was due to the software on the disc being outdated, i think they said an update fixed it.

You'll have a tough time beating him until after your first playthrough. Even though, it's not easy.
 
*vent* Stupid guy doesn't even give a two second call to say Merry Christmas. He wants to work towards being a couple again and he treats me like I'm completely irrelevant. Oh we're just friends, sure, but even friends take the time out of their busy schedules to say Merry Christmas. I guess I have high expectations. I'm completely batshit crazy to put myself through this again. And he says he definitely wants a relationship again with me in the future. I don't care if you have a crazy holiday, you can type a quick email, call for a second... something. Everyone can kiss my ass.

So yeah... he did call yesterday when he was driving to his dad's and talked for 20 minutes. I guess I should feel privileged I got that much. He knew my holiday was going to suck, yet he didn't even bother coming online at our normal time. Ug, and I have guys who are into me and maybe I could be into them if I didn't like this guy so much. He's just like Jonathan except he doesn't have another girl... he just has his feelings. I'm starting to get a complex.

I couldn't resist the Gamefly sell any more. I got Ninja Gaiden 2 ($14.99), Guitar Hero Aerosmith* ($14.99), and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 ($9.99). And I would've gotten Bully Scholarship Edition for $14.99 but its sold out. :/
