Quantum Leap? Meh. Sliders was where it was at.
My dad loves both shows. I prefer Quantum Leap myself.
I used to love that show, til they went and killed the professor. Though i understand it was because he had signed onto being in Lord of the Rings.
This. Sliders started out good then got crappy as it went along.
I love Falling Down.
Thats a great movie. I remember watching it in school. Good stuff.

Ohh speaking of Instant Queue .. I got my parents a Netflix subscription but they wont use the instant queue. So if I use it on my 360 but at some point in the future use my own Netflix account .. will there be a problem?

I watched The Thing in HD off Instant Watch last night. Soooooo good.

:whistle2:k
Maybe if you delete Netflix and then go re-download so you have to enter your info again?

I still can't believe they picked Bakula to be Archer on Enterprise. It's like he leaped into a star trek series.
The end of season 2 and season 3 were the only good of that show. Season 1 sucked and most of season 2 sucked as well.

Mid-anal coitus...

I got my dad one of those Roku boxes that stream Netflix movies. Never uses it. I'm even paying for the subscription.
I should go to bed soon... I want to get up at 6 tomorrow to go shopping.
I have to be in at work at 6am tomorrow. :(

That's the same thing a 360 does right? I wonder if my parents would bother with that if I got it for them.

I'm not sure I've ever said "I want to get up at 6 tomorrow to ..." for anything.

I despise getting up early but I want to get to Target when they open so I can hopefully avoid super long lines at customer service.

The set up is dead simple. It's all wireless. Works really well. My parents just don't use because the Netflix Watch Instantly selection is still lacking right now.
Bakula was the only good thing on Enterprise. The rest of those actors were awful.
I liked the British guy who played the security officer.
What is so great at target that it's worth getting up at 6am for?
Clearance holiday items?

He was alright. I know the guy who played Phlox got a lot of accolades, but I thought he was really annoying. I hated Trip, Hoshi, and Merriweather.

wife wants to get up early for Walmart sales tomorrow...anything gaming related worth getting there on sale you think?

Hopefully we won't trample or get trampled to death.

I liked the mirror Hoshi. They made Trip into too much of a hick.

I wish i had bought that UPS that CC had a little while ago, yesterday our power went out for a while. In fact, it was still out when we left for my Grandmother's house. Was probably out for a while. All i have a re some cheap surge protectors.
Someone just told me that Smoking Aces is one of their favorite movies, citing, "It even has a plot twist."

Smoking Aces was surprising boring for an action movie. It started alright then really didn't go anywhere. Plus the ending sucked bad (both of them). Best part of the movie for me was when
Ben Afflecks character got killed.

I haven't seen both endings, but I thought the action was way too corny and the plot was practically non existent. The person who told me it was good said, "You didn't get it?" -- "There was nothing to get..."

If my memory serves me right , both endings are pretty much the same , just the motivation for the main guy doing what he did are slightly different.

I've been trying to think of some good games to pick up from GS/EB with my gift card to the mall I got today. I want to find something my girlfriend might enjoy, but so far LBP is all I can come up with. I guess that's what I'll be going with.

I'm happy my HDMI cable and DVI cable are able to fit in the 360 at the same time (so I can use optical for audio).

I think if I had an official MS DVI cable it wouldn't fit.

HDMI is DVI. :^)

I had to crack open the casing on my 360 component cable tonight so I could get analog stereo out of there and even with that the HDMI and component cables barely fit while simultaneously connected.
