Trying to Be a Cheap Gamer

Does anyone use E-rewards to redeem at Gamestop?? I've been signing up to sites which sponsor the service, but no invites. :( Does anyone know if the effort is worth it or should I just get a job? The Pain The Pain.

uh well, I'm not to fond of those services which have you sign up for something pointless, but i would get, just maybe......get an actual job?

lol those don't work! it took me 2 years to finally get a $25 giftcard to Gamestop on Utalkback. there's no money for companies to pay out for surveys. just get a job my friend.

but hey maybe you'll earn 5 your first year. *Ahem* $5.00 dollars. :applause:
Don't waste your time brother.

Possible mis-post. This topic would likely be best in "CAG Trading, Auctions, & Shopping Discussions".

Just sayin' :speaktothehand:

I've done it for a while but its hit or miss. Lots of IT surveys for business so unless you say you are relatively high up in a corporation you won't get any surveys. The ones you do get také 15-25 minutes for which you get $5-10 credit. Then it takes $50 in credit to get a $25 gamestop gift card. I'm a few $s from another one but will quit after that - not worth the hassle if you ask me.

I have been doing the E-rewards since last fall and have gotten a gift card for each quarter (the max). I used the giftcards along with the trade in bonuses and have gotten a lot of games from Gamestop for no money out of pocket.

get a job, its not difficult, just have to put time into it, and you can only redeem one per quarter so once every 3 months.

I do pretty well with it, a lot better than some others it seems, i find its good and works. and it costs nothing but time.

OH and im not sure if you're sitting around waiting for an invitation from them but I personally did not expect it when I got it.

Even got one from macys. I think I may have had 4 accts at one time but 2 stopped sending surveys :(

The best thing to do to get an invite for E-Rewards and gamestop cards is to sign up for the Gamestop email news letter. Eventually E- rewards will send you an invite. Fill out the all the profiles and request 10+ surveys. It will start out slow but eventually you will get there. Much like other posters I am at 1 gift card every 3 months.

Hopefully this helps you.

I usually get about one $25 gift card a quarter. So yeah, you certainly want to have a job to supplement your survey-taking income ;)

I've been using e-rewards for a couple years now and gotten 4-25.00 cards. just depends if you do every survey they send. some are worth like ,3 bucks and take 20+ minutes so i skip this, and the "quick" ones acerage .25-.50 each for a couple ?'s. i get 2-3 a day, just dont bother with most (i hate dl'ing a plug in for some cheesy pilot commercail that sucks ass) a few of the more longer ones have netted me 8+ in credit. just comes down to if you wanna spend the time. turn around on cashing in points is about a week the cards show up

I hate trading games in because I oppose anus and mouth rape, so I sell used ones I don't want anymore on craigslist, but I've also gotten about a card per quarter, maybe averaging 2 per year. It's been great, I get a few survey opportunities per month, and they are really fast in sending out the cards when I order them. I've actually be incredibly pleased. Wish the giftcards were to a store I actually liked, but hell, it's free.

Hey thanks Guys. I signed up for their newsletter so I shall wait for my turn. I was truly expecting about two games a year, so hey that works.

Thanks for the correction Fusguy, this is truly my first post here. I was confused about where to post this Question and I still got it wrong. Newbies are Dumb.
