Trying to find a $500~ laptop for moderate gaming /school.

My old alienware m11x recently crapped out on me, and I'm looking to replace it. I actually purchased this laptop from Newegg for $400, but I'm wondering if there are better options. I'd like to run most newer as games as well as my old steam backlog. The research I've done makes this seem sufficient, however I'm skeptical.

This link should give you a better idea of its capabilities. It can probably handle newer games, if you stick with low/medium-low settings if you're ok with 30 fps.

Yeah I've been scouring sites to find reviews, but I still take them with a grain of salt. I ran skyrim, bfbc2, and a few other games that I shouldn't have been able to run on my m11x. Seeing as it shipped, I might as well close this thread. Thanks for the replies. I'll see how this lenovo turns out.
