TSD's Collection Pics - 56k Beware:Huge Pics - Updated 5/12/5
hey trust, may think youll find this one intresting...

went to target today to get star ocean TTEOT (scored it for 24.99 curtosey of no KUF, long story)...

i wanted to get a pack of those gba cases for 4.99, but all my targets were out.

went to best buy and they had the pack of 8 mad catz gba cases for 4.99 marked. brought them to the front , and they rang up for 2.99 each.

so for 5.99, you can get 16 cases, rather then 12, for 4.99.
Now that's a great deal. Strange that one store would have 9-packs and the other 8-packs, innit?

wow, thanks for the bump
you're never going to leave your parents basement. sad.
i cant tell if you're saying that to try and rip me one or if you're saying that because by they looks of it, im too busy playing games to care....either way, i will get out of the basement, and i can get out of the basement whenever i want to....i have plenty of money saved up, but the more i save, the better off i will be...so im doing my thing...eat one

sweetness....but i feel the same way....i could never ever live at home again. being alone and being able to do whatever i want is great....even though it's expensive and doesn't allow me to buy all the latests and greatest stuff...even though i own quite a lot of videogames dvds copmtuers and stuff....:)

yes, ill have surpassed the amount of money to buy both your mother and future daughters (or current daughters, though im hoping that you're not that old, due to your lack of maturity and complete assumptions)...and then ill be able to move up to a $10 mail-order bride from Russia

 Zing!

Your room > My room :(

Hehe..that's simply one awesome room you got there. Everything is so...organized. And clean. And organized...

Wow, I'd be a little concerned about putting such a valuable collection in a basement. There are too many things that could cause major damage, like leaky pipes. I hope it's well insulated and that you don't live in an area prone to floods.

Man, If I still lived at home I'd probably be able to buy a collection that big from the rent and bill money I wouldn't have to pay :)

I always thought my dvd and snes collections were pretty big, but yours is like, way sweeter.

Seems like we're in the same boat, I moved out when I was 18, and never looked back. I do still have a pretty decent game collection though. Over $4,000 last time I checked my sig.

Nice collection and set up thought TRUST, I bet you and I would get along just fine, as you seem to like to have everything in "it's proper place" and in next to new condition like me.

Wow, is someone jealous?

Family Guy...great! Punk'd and Dawson's Creek...not so great. What are you trying to block with that CSI dvd? Hmm...? lol, well? And now I know your name is Bryan, or that you are a girl and your bf's name is Bryan and that you went to Edgewood High School. Oh well, can't blackmail you with that info j/k :D

I'm curious to why you have so many Disney (and Rugrats) titles? Where/Why did you get the Harry Potter game? I have it, it's pretty good, very easy.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I wish my collection was that big. I have a fairly large GBA collection (but that's all I have). Yours is still larger than mine though.

EDIT: ....you have AquaMan....ahhh. It's quite possibly the worst game ever. Worst than Shaq-fu! Maybe it should replace shaq-fu as the substitute for the f-word or the d-word. On second thought, maybe not. It's more fun to read "shaq-fu it!" than it is to "aquaman it!"
i have no idea how im gonna find time to play em all...after every time i beat a game, its seriously about an hour decision on which game i should play next....
Awesome collection Dropout! LOL I'll have to get pictures of my collection up once I move in the fall. Right now, half of it is in storage. After reading your comment, I was sitting at my computer laughing. This past Friday night, I spent over an hour trying to decide what to play next. My wife came downstairs and asked what I was playing. I told her I was still deciding. She said "Its been over an hour since I went upstairs!". I didn't believe her at first... but she was right. At any event, I decided to play Nocturne. And a good choice it was.

Awesome collection man.

wow, random bump so I see this, you should nab some signs from a game store around you and put them over each section, then your basement would look like a store!! ^_^

nice!
what did i learn? never prank anyone, ever...its not worth it...as long as the # that you called them from can be traced back to you....then its on record that you called them....and with that being said, the person you called can say that you said anything that their mind can come up with....it'll be your word vs theirs and usually the person who calls the cops is the person who is "automatically inncoent"....also, if you want someone to stop pranking your house/business/etc, apparantly no1 will do anything...unless you say that it was something as serious as a bomb threat...than all hell breaks loose....and rightfully so....what else did i learn? no matter what happens, if you see a cop coming towards you or knocking on your door, dont talk to them unless YOU need them....while the cops were only doing their jobs (and i dont blame them for that), they had no intentions on listening to my side of the story, they just wanted to close the books on the case...and i really hope that all of them followed up on the case and saw that i really never lied to them....while im extremely happy that everything turned out fine, it still eats me up inside to have someone think that im the kind of person that would do such a thing
Another lesson is that you can't always rely on someone's eyewitness account to prove someone's guilt (or innocence). People see/hear all kinds of things in different ways and I'm sure this employee got it in their own head that you explicitly made a bomb threat and over time the story grew and they REALLY REALLY believe that you did it and would probably be pissed that you "got off" so easily and what is this country coming to, etc, etc... People tend to reinforce their own initial reactions and opinions and don't want to admit they were ever wrong - *especially* if the issue is so important. Keep that in mind when watching criminal cases unfold on the cable trash channels...

Edit - Oh yeah, and amazing collection! Though I have to wonder about your choice of username and living with your parents :D JUST KIDDING AROUND!!! Certainly you are successful with your game collection!
its okay...no offense taken, you don't know my situation, so i understand your prejudgement....im currently making (and have been making for almost 2 yrs now) $40,000 a yr (im 21 and a high school dropout)....i just got a promotion that starts this monday where ill be taking over my boss's job and ill be making $60,000 a yr with less work to do....ive been able to afford moving out for a while now, but why move out, when i can just stack the money pile up while im at home paying almost nothing in rent? both of my brothers and my sister all thought that they were slick and moved out when they were 18, only to realize that its not so easy....leaving them to move back in about 8 different times each (than again, they werent and still arent making the money that i make)....so when im gone, i wanna stay gone and not hassle my mother with the move-ins and the move-outs and borrowing money and etc....im looking into probably staying here for another year to two years b4 i buy a house....i hope that answered your post
OK, just saw this myself! Good deal then. I had a friend who lived in his parents house off and on until he was in his mid-30's. His parents had a freaking awesome house in the East Bay Hills (CA) with a great view of SF Bay and were often out of the country so why the hell not. Now he just (finally!) got married and bought a $750,000 house using some of the money he's saved all those years. Of course, he wasn't a dropout - he has a Master's degree :D Though I do wonder where you got such an amazing job - I would have a hard time hiring anyone who didn't have a College degree, let alone not finishing high school.

WTF??!!! I knew moving out, college, getting married and having kids was full of sh*it! Nice ass collection man! My wife would EBay my collection if it ever got 1/10 as large as that. Hmmm......my mom still has lots of loot and an extra house on her plantation(yes, I said it. It's 80 acres of prime beautiful land down the street from the Dorado golf courses in P.R.). Will this collection trigger a man divorcing his wife and becoming a deadbeat......no way man, my wife would f*uckin' kill me;)

Maybe I should call myself 'The Unsuccessful Dropout' I always regretted dropping out of high school because I'm pretty much a bum and you're over there making 40k a year and only 21. Lucky fuck, gj.
Damn TC, everytime I think of your collection I get pissed that I've sold any of my game. At one point or another I've owned twice as many PS2 games. :(

Even when a new format or system comes out, keep what you got and don't let it go. Trust me, you'll regret it.
I completely agree. I have sold so many great Playstation games to Funcoland/Gamestop..... DAMN THEM!

Oh and great collection, but where's the DC love?

curious.. wasn't sure if it was mentioned earlier.. but OP if you don't mind.. what is it that you do ???

I'm definitly want to know what job pays 60 grand to a person without a highschool degree.. cuz hell.. i would have gone that route.

i know this is a uber late bump and all, but i got here from your sig, and jesus i just have to say im impressed.... and now you can all get mad at me for bumping
