turn based rpgs

CAGiversary!
So are the only two turn based rpgs for DS magical starsign and FF3?

I have magical starsign, and have put about 9-10 hours into it. I don't know why I keep playing it. The interface is pretty bad, having to tap the screen 3 times just for an attack makes the battles drag on forever.

Actually I think they may be a few more, like a Lunar game or something, but quality wise the best ones are FFIII, Etrian Odyssey, and Pokemon (haven't heard anything about DQM).

There arent a lot of traditional turn based rpgs. Theres a shit load of dungeon crawlers and secondarily, strategy RPGs, both of them being turn based.

I don't suggest DQM Joker. Especially if you like the original ones. You're better off just rebuying the older ones on the GBC.

Definately not interested in playing pokemon. I thought Etrian odyessy was a dungeon hack/crawler too though. No story and you had to draw your own maps?

Also, should I just give up playing Magical Starsign? Do the battles get any easier or more "fun"?

I think if you're having a hard time with Magical Starsign, you should stay away from Etrian Odyssey. EO is damn hard. I've only played a little of it, but it requires a lot of grinding.

Have you ever given it a shot? Most people are pleasantly surprised.

Mario and Luigi is probably the only DS RPG I enjoyed and even that's not that great. For a system with such promising RPGs, most have been nothing more than mediocre.
