Turok demo out NOW! Impressions?
not digging the game... good try devs, but it's back to the drawing board!
Honestly, I hope they don't go back to the drawing board. They clearly have no grasp of design... at all. This is one of the worst demos I have ever played.

Anyone know how to turn up the gamma in the game without messing with my TV settings? I can't see anything, the demo is way too dark.

Not nearly as bad as the Jericho demo, IMO. I actually think it's better than Timeshift. Will probably rent this one.

i liked time shift demo more then this demo.
at least u had special powers... and the characters looked like generic FPS people
I will likely pick this up once it hits $20.
I'm there with you, only because I REALLY want to like the game. Good thing we'll only need to wait a few months before it's a bargain bin game.

Yeah, didn't think the demo was anythin special. I just ran around with the knife the whole time. That was pretty fun, but seems like it'd get repetitive real fast b/c it's too easy to kill things.

I was thinking I might get this game but only if I had the cash and was able to get it really cheap. Now I don't think I will get it at all thanks to the demo. I never really got into the turok games any way. Back in highschool a friend of mine was realy into the games so I rented the first one. I'm glad that when I rented games I always rented one that chances are I would like and one that I was unsure about. I didn't like turok but what ever else I rented made it worth it. So this is yet again another turok game I will never get. Thank you demo for saving me money.

Dissapointing to say the least. Graphics are not impressive at all, I agree the characters are like GoW characters, also the game just wasn't very smooth moving like CoD4 or Halo or Resistance or any shooter for that matter.

Wow, the knife seems a bit over powered. I was able to kill everything that came at me in the cave with one stab to the head or a snap of the neck, and never took damage. Once I got outside into the jungle and killed a couple of things I literally got lost and had no idea which way I was supposed to be going. Deleted.

Well, I did go in expecting a pretty run-of-the-mill shooter...

And I was still incredibly disappointed. Seriously, I'd rather try to play through one of the gigantic levels in Turok 2 again rather than boot up this demo again. How does this series consistently have so much potential and fail so badly every damn time?

eh as previously mentioned once it hits $20 ill pick it up.....

anyone know if it has multiplayer?
killing people online as a dinosaur could be appealing.....
think Alien vs predator (really enjoyed being the alien)
