Turtle Beach Ear Force X4 question

I'm looking at buying this headset, but i have a question that hopefully someone can answer:

will the Ear Force X4 work with an older tv? my tv only has composite cable hook ups (red white yellow), and i think the site said it works with only component cables (green blue red) or higher quality.

if anyone knows for sure if this headset works with an older tv, please let me know. i'm eager to finally get some 5.1 dolby digital sound quality . Thanks!

You should be OK. You'll hook the red and white into the transmitter when you want to use the headphones. For the best results use the Dolby Digital output. If the headphones don't come with one you can find a small cable for about 25 bucks.

You'll be fine.

Think about what your question, though. Why would component video cables make any difference with headphones? Anyway, the X4 transmitter has the red/white a/v hookups, so no worries.

Yea I have the X2 and they're great, I think you'll be very happy with the X4. It says on the amazon page http://www.amazon.com/Force-Digital-Wireless-Headphones-Xbox-360/dp/B000V7N54Athat this product comes with "plus, analog input for TV" and a comment on there says "with Optical in and RCA in you can easily hook up any audio source" so it will work. I'd wait for black Friday though for a price discount.
