I think they're giving MS points out now. Not sure though, havent played a live game yet where you can actually earn them, just been playing extended play games.

Microsoft points for The One. The mob's got its own prize later once some number of people (I think 40) get eliminated; that starts with a free game that Microsoft picks that changes each weekend, and points get thrown in as more people are eliminated. If you're in the crowd and finish in the top three out of however many tens of thousands are playing, you get the free game of the week.

No achievements, though, and I don't know anyone who's been good enough to win prizes yet. They're doing another live game tonight 10PM-midnight EST, but I think I'll skip it and just do MvC2 if anyone here is still playing then. If not, then it's time to go back into Magic the Gathering and avenge my losses last night.

we probably can't play anything at the moment anyway... bandwidth is chewed up since I'm uploading a DVD iso to network space at work.. VPN + the fact that the cable isn't fixed properly until the 22nd and it's not working well.
