Twilight deals?

dhummel, unfortunately no-DVD Talk has thread with different versions.Lowest is Walmart 1 Disc at $17, and Target/Best Buy around $25. Good Luck!
 
There definitely wouldn't be prices that low on release days, especially for a "sensation" like this movie. Best bet is to wait a month or two
 
I can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy. I love the movie and it's a definitely must buy or else I'm gona kill myself.

Haven't seen it but I have NO confidence in the plot/Action/Special effects at all. And Kristin Stewart is pretty cute but not all that Hot to me. ... As for the guy, UGH!!! NOT interested, I am not gay you know :p

twilight for free = not a deal..
book = good, movie = only good if ur under the age of 12..

i used to think rock a doodle doo was a good movie when i was a kid.. still do..
 
The book is really THAT great?

I guess they should have a better director, actors... but well let me rent it first, then say more...
 
To me, a guy, the book was OK. I was way into the concept of the book. It dealt a little too much with Bella's feelings, the way her heart beats, the way her pulse races...

I can see where the book would be more interesting to women. If you can get past that, then the book is a fairly entertaining read. I did actually read the entire series. I guess mostly because my wife did and the books were there. I can say this, the books get better and better. They move further from being centered solely on Bella's emotions and more into an overall external plot. Just my opinion.

I found the film to be less interesting than the book.
 
It's a Vampire version of Romeo and Juliet, from what I hear... (I haven't rented it yet)

god i wouldn't be caught owning this movie if someone paid me to take it. My gf and I got tricked into seeing it in theaters by all the "raging" fans... We both came out going "oh dear god what a waste of money." We paid $20 to watch two awkward ass people stare at each other for two hours. Terrible, terrible movie...
 
Wow. Some serious venom over this movie. I actually haven't seen it, but the wife's B-day is coming up. I will probably watch it once through with her, but I am expecting little. Not a big vampire fan for one and also not a big love story fan. Not looking good for me...
