UPDATED: Save 26% percent on used games/dvds with exclusive CAG coupon codes

CAG15 does the same thing as PPLAY15 (15% off used games/dvds), but now you can shop in CAG style!

CAG16 gets you 16% off used games on used orders of $50 or more.

I'm trying to work some CAG/EB exclusive promotions and hopefully this is just the beginning...

Some of you less observant CAGs may not realize that you can get 25% (or 26% on $50 used orders) off and get free shipping on used games/DVDs if you head to your local EB retailer and pick up an EB Edge card for $5. Then, when you order online you can combine your Edge card code, with codes CAG15 (or CAG16 on used orders of $50 or more) and SAVER for a total of 25% (26%) off and free shipping.

Anyone else NOtice the B1G1 free deal if you use the EDGE card you gettiing 20% off total instead of 10% since they are taking the 10% off the Total and not the sum

Seriously, though, yes, I have noticed that in store (I didn't do it online), they take 10% off the free one before making it free, which rocks. They are actually paying me to get the free game, sort of.
 
Wow great! Ill make sure I start using this instead of the other in hopes it does lead to them giving more deals for the site.
 
sweet! I got Breakdown Xbox and Arc the Lad Twilight Spirit PS2 for $8 each! Too bad I don't have an EDGE card or it would have been even better! (FYI that was $4.99 for Arc and $12.99 for Breakdown before CAG15 and SAVER)

You can do returns in-store for EBGames. Any shipping charges aren't refunded, though with the free shipping, it becomes a moot point.

Also, I noticed that they did a slightly higher tax on my order than the store would do in-store, so check what the credit should be versus the charge on your card, just so they don't forget to give it all back to you.

Gamestop doesn't so in-store returns for Gamestop.com items. Trust me, I've told them how much easier it would be if they did do that.

Hmm.. I dunno, 16% percent won't make me rush to ensure my order is over $50. But maybe 17%... :D

Anyway, do you need to have $50 total in your cart or $50 in used games in your cart to use the new coupon?

Frankly, I don't see myself using CAG 16 at all. Since shipping is free I have very little incentive to make sure I have large orders on PO games. Secondly, a lot of times if there's a PO game you really want you can't wait around to find another $30 worth of merchandie to add. You have to buy it before it is gone. Thirdly, 1% extra is a start but not a huge one. That's an extra 50 cents on a $50 order. $1 on a $100 order.

But I will definately use CAG15 over PPLAY 15 to bolster the name of CAG!

Nice with the CAG16. Maybe soon we can get a CAG20, the CAG50 and why not a CAG100. Just kidding, can't blame a guy for being greedy.

Good to see Cheapy. I was planning on ordering from EB soon anyways, so I'll use the CAG code. If only I had an EDGE card right now. Haven't been able to go to a EB in a long time.

In most cases they ARE trying to get rid of thier older titles on the classic systems. The inventory carrying costs wiil be much greater once the new batch of systems comes out.
 
does anyone who own's an edge card know how much it will cost to get one and the magical sticker. the faq on their site acts like you have to buy a card and an upgrade to the magical sticker.

think we could get some CAG codes at gamestop too?

It's only $5 for the card and sticker. And it will pay for itself after buying $50 of used games, so this is a great deal.
 
hey Cheapy, are you/they doing anything to prevent non-CAGs from using this deal?

dont want to see CAG exclusive codes on a non-CAG site

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, in numbers we have strength. If we use the CAG16 code, EB will take notice of this loyal (and cheapass) client base.

i have a question!!

I order EyeToy: Groove and Kamatari Damacy. When I received my order today it have only Eyetoy: Groove in the envelope package but the receipt list 2 items on it.

It's Possible EB shipped katamari Damacy separate or it's missing on perfect ??

How long is the edge card good for?
Is there any way to save on shipping on these as well, sorry if I'm missing the obvious. But I will be doing all of my ordering with these codes, I mean who cares if they're tracking it, I think that makes it way more likely for us to get special benefits in the future.

It expires after one year of service, unless you renew it. So, I guess the answer is one year.

He's not kidding. All you have to do is kiss the clerk and they'll add the discount. Or maybe they won't. It's up to them frankly. But being a game-store clerk is a sad and lonely affair, believe me I know. Those employees deserve a kiss. Won't you be the one to give it to them?

I tried to get a in store clerk to do it for me, and he refused to without a paper coupon. Then I tried to kiss him, I got knocked out.
