Two free XBLA games for Xbox 360 consoles purchased between 8/8/06 - 09/15/07

This is awesome news - I'm finally going to pick up a 360 tomorrow (I wanna wait for the falcon and all, but my Wii is just too damn boring for now and I can only beat Okami and SMT: Nocturne on the PS2 so many times before I go crazy). Anyway, I was wondering about this - I figured I'd pick up a Core 360 since my friend has an old 20GB HDD he doesn't use now that he'd be willing to give me. Does that have any relevance to this at all, since the HDD was from his old Premium before he got a new 120GB HDD? I'm assuming it doesn't - don't know why it would, but I thought I'd double check on here just in case.

Tagging this for later. I don't have a 360 yet, but as soon as I see a Falcon, I'll be picking it up, hopefully before the deadline. Thanks OP.
Damnit, I already have Frogger and Robotron. GRRRRRR
Is that what they are? I don't need another Robotron either. One was one too many.

Sweetness. I'll have to mention this to some friendx of mine, too (I can think of two that could use it, maybe three).

And I have neither Frogger nor Robotron, so I"ll take whatever they want to give me!
Hopefully with a flood of robotron codes, I'll be able to trade my Uno code for one.

Pm sent.

Registered. I actually did get a game or two last time, and this promotion is still within the time frame in which I bought my 360, so we'll see.

Like everyone I signed up. Like many, I'm not sure if I qualify since I've had the same gamertag for four years. Like most, I already have Robotron -- it was free with the camera wasn't it? Maybe my friend would like it. Thanks for the info

I signed up. I bought my 360 November 07 and got my replacement last month, and I hadnt registed either. Hopefully I'll get an email.
I tried this last time and didn't get the games, maybe it'll work this time.
So did I...and I even purchased my console during the time frame!
How long does it usually take to get the codes? I registered mine today... Does it take days or hours? Thanks!
Weeks I think. I registered about a week ago.

uhh... from the OP - "codes will arrive by September 30."

Are the "tokens" sent via email or snail mail? All of my information was shown when I signed into the live service (windows ID or whatever it is called).
What games are they?
MS chooses them, dont expect any blockbusters or anything like that. But free is free.

Are any of the arcade games really worth it? I have MAME/emulators and can get practically every game that route and just play it on my laptop.

It's free. Is there any downside?

edit: if you ever see this, sorry for the flames. My frustration wasn’t targeted at you at the time.

Does anybody know what e-mail address they use to give us the codes? I am trying to prevent my codes from being directed into my spam folder. I've already added the microsoft.com and xbox.com domains.

Thanks,

Alex

How can something awesome such as free games turn into a retarded flame war...
