The first 5,000 people who download the Red Dead Redemption Freeroam trailer from Xbox Live between April 26, 2010, 12:01 AM GMT and May 10, 2010, 11:59 PM GMT get 400 Microsoft Points and a Rockstar theme. Both silver and gold accounts are eligible. Tokens are sent the email address associated the account 4-6 weeks after the promotion ends. Once again, this is UK only.

I was going to say having a date deadline makes no sense if its the first 5,000. GL to all the UKers out there.

There is nothing on the giveaway page to indicate that it is a random drawing. Do you have a source?

A friend of mine in England (the person who told me about this) emailed me this morning and told me he has the exact opposite problem. His points redeemed but his theme won't. Maybe they're taking their time activating the codes?

Apparently the MS point codes worked on the US site.

Anybody get any followup emails today about the technical difficulties?
