The more I think about it the more pissed I get - why did they have to kill the franchise with 2 crappy sequels?
2 sides to this argument:
A) The ignorant mass who disliked the movies for there inclusion of "big words" and "plot", also the plot wasn't completly spelled out for us, forcing us to think.
B) The small percentage of us who "got" the movies, and enjoyed them. We discovered something that will take others decades to get, IE the Star Wars Trilogy, Scarface, etc, etc.
Congradulations, you're a proud member of group A, here's your prize:

Or group C: who did understand the movies and still didn't like them as much as the first.
I'm a C....
Yep, I'm in C as well..I LOVE parts 1 and 2, which did carry on the philosophy of the series and made things more interesting...and then the 3rd one hits and the Wachowskis shit on your head and laugh at you as they become billionaires. The 3rd one was definitely dummbed down.
All the symbolism and religious allusions in the 1st and 2nd were merely implied or were subtle...but in the third, it was so blatantly screamed out at you that I dont know who WOULDN"T get them...I felt really patronized as I walked out of the theatres....
