Unclaimed Funds?!
Normally it's done by the state so try Illy.
Tried that too but no good. I got sites that need a paying membership, which means its fake.

i'll never understand how people can forget about that amount of money....how the hell do you just forget about $780? seriously...if you can forget about that amount of money, you must not need the money and it should just go to charity or something

Some of it is from the deceased who forgot to specify it in their wills or no one showed up to claim it. For example my uncle died and willed some property to a friend who didn't want it and so it sat in the states hands for a number of years.

I have no money coming, but I can get my Unlce "under 10 dollars" WOOT
Thanks

Funny thing.

This guy has the same name as me (even same middle initial) and states he lives on 2XX West 23rd Street.

I live on 2XX West 24th Street.

and that the claim was left there back in '96

Could it be that I wrote a wrong address on something back when I was a kid or a guy with scary similarities?

Certainly possible. Unless your name is extremely common or something, I still doubt it's be such a coicidence. It is the same number too right?

Anyway I did this once (I don't remember what site) and I got my mom $70 from a bank account she'd never taken the money out of when it closed. She said it was only like $30 so it wasn't worth it, but I guess it got interest or something over time.

My aunt who I hadn't talked to in about 15 yrs called me last month as I showed up in the list for Illinois.

Supposedly have over $100 coming.
Mailed the required documents and am awaiting results.

i looked on the state treasurer's site, nothing owed any in my family.

i looked on some pay for information site and apparently i'm owed $180, my sister $180, my dad $500, and my mom $5400. i kind of doubt that.
