Since you've been nice enough to respond to the people in this thread, I'll give you some advice. Turn off the annoying chick. You just scared the shit out of my girlfriend because I had my speakers turned up when I visited your site. At least have her picture there with a big "Play" button on it so that people can CHOOSE to listen to what she says. Automatic audio blasts like that are the most obnoxious thing on the internet.

I personally think they should make the woman louder. You internet surfers have it too easy! Somebody has to keep you on your toes, and who better than Uncle Vic?! You already don't want to turn your back on him. Think of this woman as a social worker trying to keep you safe.

Thanks for all the replies. Couple of comments-- the name Uncle Vic is derived from our president Vic. We laughed at the name choice early on but it stuck with us. It gives us differentiation and gives us a chance to do some personified branding in our content on our site and interactions with our customers etc. Regarding the shipping costs, the guitar is in a long box and we need to put in in a bigger box to fit the right dimensions. You're right though adding that cable should be cheaper on shipping. We are working on developing some new logic for multi-product orders. In the meantime just give us a ring for a special promo code to discount shipping for multiple items purchases. 888-386-2538 ask for sales. In regards to the front page videos, I agree-- we are working on many improvements to the site one of which will be making the video user-initiated. Regarding the photoshop'd pic-- it's actually our building: Two stories. As far as the Reseller Ratings 100% are from real customers. We sent emails out to our customer base and asked them to post honest ratings. If anyone here is in So Cal, call us we'll show you around. (We're right by Disneyland) Our account with RR is very new, as such, most customers have only posted once. We opened our doors about a year ago so we are still relatively new. So far so good.
