[Unconfirmed] Circuit City Winter Clearance Sale

Well it's after 4am CST and there are no online deals. Has anyone considered that the buy 3, get 20% off deal IS the winter clearance?
 
With the old CC.com site design they would take the site off-line to update it for 15-30 minutes. I am not sure if this is still the case or if this new design allows them to update the site without temporarilty disrupting service.

edit: this is interesting I was about to get nightmare of druaga and got this message:

McAfee also said Sims2.exe tried to access the internet.

There was no Trojan in the post, it's a false reading. McAfee is one of the most farked up detectors out there, but just so you guys can rest easier, i'll edit my original post.. though it won't help much, since the whole lot of you decided to quote it.
 
Alright, let me say this..

It was a joke, plain and simple.. AlbinoBlacksheep, I thought, is a decent site, and I was not aware of any trojans.. I didn't pick any up, none were detected, I did a full system scan, and the link was clean to me, that's why I posted. AlbinoBlacksheep has been linked here before. If something actually WAS in it, I apologize, and will aid in any way I can in the removal of it.. but nothing was picked up on my end.

Do you find it strange that out of all of the CC employees nationwide, this guy is the only one who heard about this deal? And this is after they tagged the entire store for their clearance. I smell something fishy. But, if it works out to be true in some way, shape, or form, then yay.
 
i think.... im going to.... take a 2.5 hour nap.... and wake up and visit CC at 9 when it opens.... im pretty tired for some reason

yea...but also remember the last guy that got flamed for posting the cc glitch, that turned out to be true...i'll stay optimistic although i don't expect anything too good from this...
 
If anyone cares, according to the cc website there's a retro nes gba sp available for pickup in saugus, MA (on route 1). I don't want it, but someone might.

Also says it's available in somerville, MA, taunton, MA and south Portland ME.

Yes please do that don't post here again because it was stupid to post a link to nothing having to deal with getting a Cheap ass deal in the first place. Now you might have infected your fellow CAGr's with a Trojan. No amount of posted apologies from you will be enough to the people that now have to go through the trouble of removing the Trojan and all the crap it installed on their computers.
 
There are varying type of trojans.. a huge trojan would not be embedded in a flash file.. not on that site, anyways.

Gah, i'm never going to live this down.
