Universal price drop? Dungeon Siege 3 down to 39.99/29.99

According to Kali he saw the PS3 version on clearance at Target for $29.98.

Personally I'm waiting for it to hit $20 or less, maybe even $10. But from what I played of the demo it was a decent hack and slash, just not worth a lot.

Agreed 100%. Considering I got torchlight during the steam sale for just a few bucks, I see no reason to spend more than 20 on a game that got 6.5's all around
 
Played the demo and couldn't understand all the hate for this game, thought it was pretty good. That being said I have such a huge backlog and by the time I get around to it the price should have dropped much further. I'm betting this will be an Amazon $10-$15 give away around Black Friday.

I agree. I've never played the first two but if they were hack and slash as well then I don't understand why older fans would hate it. Seems like a Fun chilled out game to me.
 
I played the demo and found it boring, repetitive, and generic. Then again, I don't play dungeon crawlers.

Just about every game that comes out during the spring/summer drop quickly in price because of all of the fall games coming. It's like a double edge sword. Either try to compete with the fall blockbusters or launch early and then drop the price.

I hated the demo but bought the game for $25 @ BB last month. I think after the 1st 90 minutes of gameplay, it gets much better. The game should have been longer and 1 of the 4 playable characters is terrible. However the plot choices are great and I really liked the ending based on the choices you make. The couch co-op is a lot of fun. Well worth $25 but i am very glad i didnt buy it at $60.

Then of course if you compete with the big guns and fail your game could be $10 by January, like Enslaved.
 
Amazon now has it for $34.99 on consoles and $24.99 for PC. Digital download version is still $29.99.
