from the store.

QUESTION:

Think I wasted my money?

It was just to replace the milk I had which expired, and this could expire too but I paid a reasonable price for it. If it expires before the expiration date I'll never buy milk from that store again. Checked their online reviews and it was at 4 1/2 stars, a few 1s and some 3s. But all 5s in the last 30 days.

::edit::
Apparently milk has been delayed. I'm not sure why I was able to get the milk I bought. It may have been a demo milk that the company was supposed to put on display, but for whatever reason they sold it to me.

::re-edit::
I lost my receipt, but I want to return the milk. I've also listed the milk in my tradelist, in case anyone offers something good.

::re-edit 2::
Milk is now for trade.

::ao edit::
Milk has been given an "Adults Only" rating.

I vaguely remember something about malk. Not too sure though. I just wanted an excuse to use that font I used.

Now with Vitamin R

But I am a little confused by this thread, and this sentence: "If it expires before the expiration date I'll never buy milk from that store again."

Bart! I got it!

I win a hug...a hug from Strell....

I went in to purchase some milk, but they were sold out:cry:. I managed to get a $20 gift card since they were out though:D.
Will milk become rare? Should I buy some and keep it sealed?
*looks down at his bowl of frosted flakes filled with milk* .....Why didn't I think about that!?

Amazon : Tuscan Whole Milk

A few Samples:

I purchased Tuscan Milk for only 2.59 after casting Level 3 Haggle. It is a container full of milk and weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces.
After drinking the milk, not only was my Thirst completely rejuvenated and my Hunger decreased by 2 points, my prime stats were temporarily increased as follows:

+25 CON +12 DEX +18 STR +2 MAG for +6 Hours
+10 Hitroll +12 Damroll for +12 Hours

But the best part was that after drinking the milk, the empty container can be wielded as a weapon!

Tuscan Milk is a Mace/Blunt Object and can be referred to as "MILK TUSCAN JUG"
Damage: 10d6
To Hit: +68%
STR +2 DEX +2 CHA +2

I would definitely recommend Tuscan Milk to other adventurers. Please note that the effects described above are for me, a Level 43 Elf Cleric, and other races/classes may be affected diferently. Milk is not advised for Orcs.

------------------------------------

The exact minute I got my milk, my baby's new face burst into flames. I used the gallon to extinguish my baby. Next time, I'll order 2 gallons. Thank you, milk. Thank YOU!

One should not be intimidated by Tuscan Whole Milk. Nor should one prejudge, despite the fact that Tuscan is non-vintage and comes in such large containers. Do not be fooled: this is not a jug milk. I always find it important to taste milk using high-quality stemware -- this is milk deserving of something better than a Flintstones plastic tumbler. One should pour just a small dollop and swirl it in the glass -- note the coating and look for clots or discoloration. And the color -- it should be opaque, and very, very white. Now, immerse your nose in the glass and take a whiff. Tuscan transports you instantly to scenic hill towns in central Italy (is that Montepulciano I detect?) --- there is the loamy clay, the green grass of summer days, the towering cypress. And those gentle hints of Italian flowers -- wild orchids, sunflowers, poppies. Then, one takes in the thick liquid and lets it roll across and under the tongue -- what is that? perhaps a hint of a nutty Edam cheese? With Tuscan, you feel the love of every dairyperson involved -- from the somewhat sad and deranged farmhand shovelling steaming cowpies to the bored union milk maiden dreaming of leaving this soul crushing life behind for a job waiting tables for obnoxious American tourists in Siena. But not too fast -- sip gently, slowly, or one is in danger of not only missing the subtleties of the milk's texture and its terroir, but -- if chilled too long -- also of giving oneself a blinding ice cream headache. Nay, savor the goodness that only dairymen and dairywomen working at the apex of their craft can deliver. Tuscan is best drunk young -- no, no, don't cellar this gem -- I guarantee you'll be sorry if you do. I recommend pairing with freshly baked macadamia nut scones. Milk Expectorator gives this one a 92.

I heard a rumor that the Fieldcrest skim milk is OOP.

OP, the only waste of money was in the fact that you let expire the milk you had bought previously. If you're not going to drink a whole gallon, perhaps you should buy the quart size.
You should've preorderd, they had some sick milk plushies
I hear if you don't pre-order, you won't be able to get any for like the next 4 months until another shipment comes in.

I buy that milk that comes in a box. It can sit around on your shelf for months just fine. Only once you open it does it need to be refridgerated and become subject to the normal laws concerning milk.
Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk for free?
why milk a cow when you can milk a bull........

Yeah I did that last time but then when I went in to pick up the milk the guy gave me an opened carton and I was like "WTF" so then I knocked over the magazine rack on my way out.

No glitter?

oh yeah I know what you mean. Like the time when I brought it up to the counter and they put everything in the carton and I'm like, "but I want a new one" and they'er like "this is the new one, it's just the display one" and I'm like "kthnxbai" and I was outta there without any milk!

I'll take my chances and wait till the milk gets pennied out and hope that the employees don't throw it out before I can get it :)

OP you should have just returned the expired milk to Wal Mart so you don't get ripped off!

and that would have worked because it wasn't too much to be returned without a reciept!

If the label is torn off, you should get 10% off and also get 15% off with edge card. All milk carton should be inspected if it is open box or not.

The clerk in GameStop won't shut up about that.

That's frowned upon here at CAG.
UPDATE:
MILK HAS BEEN DELAYED
what? I've been waiting for ever. I can't stand to wait any longer, this is getting a little ridiculous.
Stupid milk fanboys...it's all about beer.
Beer doesn't give you the aforementioned stats of Tuscan Milk

And I agree with Rig
2%, or it wasn't worth buying.
Okay, so milk has apparently been delayed (thanks for the heads up Strell!), but I still managed to get some. Maybe it was a demo milk, it doesn't matter. But now, do I sell the milk on eBay and make a hefty profit (since it's not supposed to be out) or do I open it and enjoy it now with a plate of warm cookies? Keep in mind I'm not a collector, so I plan on opening the milk at some point (or if I sell it I'll pick up milk when it finally is released and open it then).

What do I do?

oh man you got really lucky then because where ever you bought it obviously broke street date with what they had in stock. man, and I need some milk too. I wonder how long the delay will be. anyone got a heads up on that?

Is it okay if I bought a third party brand of milk? All they had at my store was "Ali Habbad's Goat Milk". I think I got a defective copy because when I poured a glass, it was brown and didn't really "pour" out.

i'd take it back. it was probably one of those copies that said new, but was really a used one just shrink wrapped.
