hurt locker any good i've never seen the movie feel like i've been trapped in a box.

Hurt Locker is a good film. its not filled with action. its closer to Jarhead than it is to Saving Private Ryan. I dont think it was oscar worthy, but everything else that came out that year was worse, so i guess it did deserve.

Totally disagree about it not being Oscar worthy. It's quite possibly the most tightly scripted and suspenseful film I've ever seen (it's about a bomb squad, so the material is suspenseful by nature). When I saw it for the first time, I immediately replayed the entire movie cause I was just in awe. It's an incredible film that's completely worth it at this price!
Terminator Salvation is only $6.25 on Deep Discount right now for those willing to wait for them to come back into stock. http://www.deepdiscount.com/index.c...oductID/891312E1-7866-47E0-BE70-42B1E25920E1/
How likely are they to cancel my order for that? Doesn't seem like they would bother getting it back in stock to sell for $8.xx, but I don't see why DDD would not keep Terminator Salvation in stock so I guess I'll order anyway.

I just finished watching it. I think it's a fantastic film with great performances and there are some very tense scenes.

Thanks OP!

Picked up Hulk! Kinda sad I missed it on the HWV bluray sales, but this is great.

...Now only if they'll mark Star Trek back down to $10...

I thought it was very underwhelming, extremely corny and unrealistic. Ending was good though.

Acting was great, special effects were cool, and it's about the middle east. I guess it deserved the awards on those merits.

way too ssslllooooooww for me, and yes I do like movies that aren't all action

It was pretty good, but imo quite overrated. Though i feel like the one person who thought UP should have won best picture.

As for the deals, i kinda wish Zombieland was 10 not 15.

That's for good reason.

hurt locker - 1 time rental, not worth a full price buy, maybe $5-$10 tops even on blu

zombieland - keeper, good at 14.99, could watch more than once, maybe twice

district 9 - would have bought it for full price, DVR'd this puppy on Starz and wow I won't be deleting this ever off my DVR. I could watch this movie mult times over a summer

EDIT: is my vision going bad or is everything blurry today on CAG? sigs, pics, etc?

Ya, first scene of Hurt Locker was good, then it was all downhill from there. I agree, it is intense but I CANNOT get past how unrealistic it is, just watch Generation Kill instead.

Great price on District 9, I would have bit at that price if I hadn't already picked it up earlier.
