There is a difference between arguing beliefs which is what PAD does and just coming out and saying that group X sucks and we should hate them.

The lady was crazy. It really does have little to do with Christianity, but I think that was the point. You can cherry-pick crazies from any group to make the entire group look insane. Just as PAD cherry-picks the worst Muslims and uses their actions to make strawmen arguements about the nature of Islam, any one of us could cherry-pick insane Texan women who do heinous things in the name of the Christianity to make that religion appear horrible.
 
What Quackzilla conviently forgets to point out in his bash on Christianity is that this woman has a history of mental disorders and was acting on her own. Also, since he knows nothing about world religions, there is no summary of the Christian faith that decrees is " the religion of peace, love, happiness, and tolerance." Unlike the Islamic faith that proclaims itself the Religion of Peace.

Meanwhile the examples of Islam I point out are groups representing their religion. Some have been clerics, some self-appointed "militants" and some acting out on fatwas decreed by one nut job or another.

FYI PAD- Jesus WAS the prince of peace and love. It is not incorrect to think his followers would try to follow in his footsteps...whether it is the "official" slogan of CHRISTianity or not. - 6 for a very bad arguement.

whether this was a satire or not is up to interpretation, though it shows how quickly people come to the defense of Christianity when an isolated incident happens. Though PAD makes Anti-Islamic posts and some people take it for the gospel, and usually very few people protest those posts. He does the same exact thing, he picks a fraction and portrays it as a whole. There are radicals in every group, they usually never represent the whole, though some people conviently forget it. People spread the fear, thats why that 44% of people think Muslims should have reduced civil liberties, they have bought into the passive agressive hate ideology that people try to spread on this site. People need to chill the fuk out.

I've seen satire, but I don't think Quack's comments were, despite whatever he may say later about it I'd wager its how he really feels. I think this thread is also proof of how quickly people come to bash chrisitianity and christians when even a remotely related incident occurs. Besides plenty of people came out and said how much they didn't like PAD's thread and I didn't really share th views of it myself, lots of people came to the defense of Muslims against that thread, but there's no defense against the christian bashing of this thread?

I mean really this story has basically little to do with chrisitanity anyhow and more to do with some one who is basically fucked up in the head. KingNes is right, posting this garbage was stupid and pointless like much of the same crap smeared all gamefaqs' boards, it'll only degenate further fown the spiral (doubtful I'm helping though). And to clarify my point wasn't even totally for defense of christianity anyways, I'm probably not a good enough chirstian to try and do that, but rather it was made to try and demonstrate to Quack that he too is a hypocrite and has little to no room to be calling anyone else by the same title.
