I just won this auction a week ago and send a money order out and he still haven't responded to me. How long does it take for a letter to arrived from Colorado to Illonis? Am i just freaking out or should I give him more time.

Yes this auction seem werid and his feedback wasn't all that great but I figure I take a chance, I really want this game bad. Is there anything I could do? This guy also hasn't responded to any of my email to.
 
that sucks,good luck on getting the game. i don't buy from ebay anymore because of all the scams that go on over there. i have taken my online business to this site only now.
 
I once sent a money order that took 1.5 weeks to get to its destination cause I used regular delivery

but the fact that he's not responding to any emails isn't a good thing. Wait a couple of more days to see what happens.
 
Well once I got a money order in two days, but he should receive it within 5. Maybe he's verifying it right now. However, whenever I verify a money order I always tell the buyer. So good luck man........
 
That guy has a lot of feedback. I would wait a few more days maybe he has just been too busy.
 
He has a lot of feedback and a good record. You should trust him. A lot of times, people are really busy and they just can't get back to you.

There's a good chance he's already sent it out to you.

There are a lot of people, who, while trustworthy, are very poor communicators.

Never send cash.

MO is ok.

If you're really concerned, you should be paying for delivery confirmation when you send out money orders.
 
You'll find some sellers just don't respond, yet they come through. I ordered a DVD from a seller off Half.com. While waiting on that to come in, I ordered Onimusha 3 from the same seller (inadvertently, price was very good). I got Onimusha 3 in about 3 days. DVD never showed and the seller never responded to my emails. They did end up refunding my money with no hassle, they just never communicated. Ever.
 
he probably just sent out the game and didn't notify you. i know that i try to notify my buyers when i get their money order, but sometimes i just forget. i don't forget to send their items out, though, so just give it some time.

expect your item within the week.
 
It is also a weekend right now. Some sellers don't reply on weekends for a wide variety of reasons. I consider 98% feedback to be pretty good, so give it a few days.
 
I finally got the game after I sent him an email saying that if he won't send me my game I'm going to report him to ebay. ( I thought That I sent a Money order out but it turns out I wrote him a check and my bank statement said the check was cashed over three weeks ago). The game was in good condtion Box and manual was good and it wasn't a bootleg either the only thing that i was piss off about is that when I turned on the game, a game data was named "ASSWHANG". I know that this message was meant for me beacuse the playing time on the data was only 3 min. What should I do to him?
 
Laugh about it. That's a great creative little way for him to express his frustration without causing any real trouble.
 
I'm Asian to so should I take this as a racial slur. Or am I just blowing it out of proprotion after all I got Castlevania Aria of sorrow for like $12

If you read his feedback, the most popular complaint against this guy is communication. He has some negative, but much more positive feedback. I'd say forget emailing him since he won't respond anyway. Your game will more than likely be shipped, using his number of postitive feedback as reference.

Some sellers are slow. I just received some Genesis stuff in the mail today that I orderd some time ago on eBay. LOL I've only been ripped off once, and that was years ago from some French loser. I'll never do overseas business on eBay again.
 
Pretty uptight about this one arn't ya? Its your call... I wouldn't neccesarily go by what is said on here as it's sometimes hard to tell when people are joking or not.

I ain't planning to do nothing major or anything it just that the file was created and saved at the very first save point which was clock in about 3 minutes and there was another with like 40 hours.

Blueweltall didn't seem to even be well informed enough to know what an aswang is, rather he assumed it to be some sort of racial slur.

I think this is nothing but a tempest in a tea kettle.

How do you know he wasn't starting another game to play, but decided he'd rather sell the game instead?
I don't see the name as any different as people naming thier file vampire, nosferatu, etc. I'm having a hard time seeing a motive here.
I think you're looking for ill intent where there is none.

I know but should I leave him a negative feedback it took him three weeks to send the game out. When I email him he told me he didn't receive any of my e-mail beacuse he was on vacation and he wasn't sure if he got my payment, when my bank clearly showed that he cashed it about three week ago.

Youre a bit off, us Filipinos call that creature 'TikTik'.. aswang is a general term used for scary creatures.. in english you may say its synonymous to monster

Well, ASSWANG would be more troubling.
Some people just can't spell. ASSWHANG could very likely be the spelling someone unfamilar with Aswang would use... there are some people that have heard of things, yet never read about them or seen the proper spelling of them.

I'm still not convinced that this person did this maliciously.
If your name was Whang, however it would be a little different.

Oops. Sorry. It's one of the many mythologies I'm very unfamilar with, so I'm just going by what I've briefly been told. If it were celtic or greek mythology, I'd know better.
 
Without quoting anyone in specific....if you sent your money and got your item as described within a reasonable amount of time...give a positive. Don't go worrying about if someone is trying to take a shot at you. You shouldn't worry about what someone you don't know thinks, and you can't be certain of his ill intent.

If you decided to leave a feedback I'd leave neutral at worst since it did take him 3 weeks to get it sent. But it's probably best not to leave anything at all for fear of retaliation.

Personally I'd leave positive feedback and just note something like "Got item as described, but poor communication and slow shipping."

But given you think he may have thown a racial slur at you via a savegame name, plus the ultra slow shipping and no comm. You're maybe justified to leave a neutral.

At least you didn't buy a compact flash card from the guy. I figure you'd have a card full of shots of the dude mooning you :wink:

Actually eBay bought PayPal so they are in fact now the same crappy company :lol:

PayPal is great for ease of use, but it does piss me off that they take their fees no matter how the customer funds the payment. I wish they would take a greatly reduced fee for payments from existing funds or a bank account transfer, and only take the full fee for payments actually coming from CCs.
