[UPDATE!!] There are NO exclusions on the $150 trade-in deals at EB!!

I did this deal the last time it was around, Traded my working PS2 +5 games for a PStwo and my broken Xbox for World of Warcraft since I Did the trade in correctly.

Is this still going on? Are they accepting in the GBA anymore? I want to get rid of mine.

Thats just wrong! Now I know why my local EB actually tests the trade in systems, and controllers (I had a defective one, they actually hooked it up to see if I was telling them the truth).
 
When I traded in my Xbox the clerk warned me he was going to test it in front of me, which was fine since it worked. He put in Halo 2 in and hooked the system up to all the screens in the store. He even sat through the first cutscene and made sure the controller I gave him worked.

I don't see how you got away with trading in a broken system as a working one if all the EBs follow that policy of testing the systems.
 
Hey guys! . . . delete your quotes of LongxTran85 post . . . we all agree and I think he may be seeing the errors of his ways . . . at any rate the post itself makes CAG (all of us) vulnerable.
 
the EB i went to, was a big hassle and a waste of an hour..they had games exlcuded..basically would accept recent games..i decided to but their pre owned games, spent an hour going back and forth so the guy could scan them..he would only accept pre owned games that cost around 15 each...wasn;t worth it since i'd spend more
 
When I traded in my PS2, the guy tested it with an EA sports blue bottomed game disc! It worked though. ;) When I traded in my Xbox for a Halo one a while back, he hooked it all up and tested Halo to make sure the controller worked also.

The guys at EB didn't even pull my PS2 out of the box when I traded it in! They said: "Does it work? Is everything in here?" I replied: "Yes, and yes." That was all... Imagine their surprise if I would've left out the cords and controller! That would have been funny.
