I wanna order from bestbuy but they don't seem to have the epic edition on their site and when I called my local store they couldn't tell me anything
 
best buy's site is now showing the box art/cover for the epic edition. same sku as before when it showed the standard box art/cover.
 
The Epic edition's cover sure is ugly compared to the standard edition. WTF were they thinking? Anyway, definitely picking this up but I'll probably give the Gears 3 beta code to a friend who is actually interested in GoW's multiplayer.
 
Newegg always has the great pre order prices for limited time before the games release and they just changed there bulletstorm price to $49.99! This price wont last long! This is the Epic Edition with Free shipping and for most places no tax!

I've got 120 bucks in gift cards from trading in things and I was gonna use that to get Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm for free (relatively speaking).

I guess I could use Newegg and get Bulletstorm for 50 bucks but darn the delayed shipping...much prefer Prime

Newegg has had all my pre ordered here on release day with using free shipping. Might be diffrent for other area's and amazon is prob better for more common amazon users but to me it actually costs less from newegg. Hopefully amazon price matches this for you all?
 
NY forced Amazon to charge tax, and Newegg initially did too, but they actually took a stand against a bullshit shady law. so I give my business to them whenever possible over Amazon.

same thing is going down here in illinois. plus now we're expected to itemize our internet purchases from 2004 thru 2010 on '10 tax return.

There is a thread similar to this so if you want you can go ahead and combine your thread with mine and I will close and lock mine. Mine is a little older but has more information on it. Feel free to use it how you want just be sure to let me know what you do and give me some credit.

I started the orginal Bulletstorm thread but I wont complain because I would like to see just how far this game can go because I have been looking at some screenshots and watching some videos on it. It looks really cool.

Everyone already know's pc version's of games have better graphics, i just dont like upgradeing every 5 month to make it that way. lol Sit back on my couch with a wireless controller, wireless headset on my 32" playing on xbox live with friends in some coop sounds more relaxing to me =P

I've never traded with anyone here. I rightly pointed out that one of the mods is a douchebag and received a "trading" violation for it. I've never wanted to trade games with grubby little 12 year olds to begin with. Don't hate because you're stuck playing on ancient hardware that can't even run most games in true HD and has to use upscaling tricks.

You know you can do all this on a PC right? I swap between my 2560x1600 monitor and my Pioneer Plasma TV with a few mouse clicks. I pretty much always have the best and I only upgrade once a year. Usually buy a pair of the best graphics cards for $500 each and then sell them a year later for about $300 each. I more than make up that $400 on better prices for PC games. A lot of them can be bought for $10-$15 or even less on ebay a couple months after they come out, while the console versions are still $30-$40. It's really not even necessary to upgrade that often. Even an old card like an 8800GTX is still way better than consoles.

I love console gaming over PC gaming but that is not really true. I built my current PC about 2 years ago and it can run any game on high graphics settings. You only need to upgrade if you buy a budget PC and if you are doing only marginal upgrades.

same for me. I've been on the edge for this game, I know they're pushing combos and 'skillshots' but is there anything else to the game? any other main points or ideas? I do like good new IPs, and if there is maybe a bit more to it, I think I would be glad to get it. and that 10 bucks is 10 bucks.

Stop trying to start a flame war. No one cares about the PC version because there isn't a deal on it. The deal here is 10 dollars off the console version.

Also People Can Fly write terribly shitty code so the PC port is going to be garbage. Go play Gears of War and then tell me how awesome the PC version of that is. If you can get through that whole game without CTD bugs or save files corrupting than you are the most lucky person on the planet.

I would tell you, but I sold it when Windows/Xbox Live was down because I needed to be connected to live to access my single player campaign saves :lol:

Kmart doesn't do preorders, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

As for Amazon matching, there's always a chance they will. It's almost always 50/50 though.
