Nice. On a side note...why is the Casino Royale Full screen DVD on a waitlist but the widescreen isn't. Good for me...but strange. Who gets full screen movies anymore?
Have you had any issues with the built-in slip sleeves for the blus? That was my only hangup in buying this, but I've since convinced myself that I'm getting it anyway.
Sorry, I went to sleep shortly after my post.

The discs themselves are easily removed from the slip covers they are in, BUT it is sort of annoying getting to the discs, as you have to remove a Lid, then a Book, then a Board Game, then you pull out a box that has all 6 seasons in it...

You'll see when you get it.
anyone know what twilight zones price will be? i see it is an upcoming deal for the definitive set
Where does it say it will be on sale? I would be pumped to pick up that set =D

Awesome! I wasn't going to get it if it was 6.48+1.99, but seeing as though you're getting both for 6.48, I can't say no to that. Thanks for the post!

I hope the Twilight Zone is under $75; I realize that is a big stretch but that's all I can spare as I'm also waiting on those senheisser headphones coming up in a few mins.

TZ isn't listed on the calendar page, but it's listed in the upcoming lightning deals section (just scroll forward to see upcoming deals.)

Right now, it says to check back at 2PM PST...

Upcoming Deal
The Twilight Zone: The Complete Definitive Collection

I remember I posted a deal on this a while ago and everybody was saying they were going to re-release it or something, is that still happening?

EDIT: I guess it was the Blu-Ray release they had a few months ago on this.

The Blu-rays of Twilight Zone have been amazing... I'm sure the DVDs will be cheaper but it might be worth waiting for good deals on the BRs.

They finally have a deal on my name is earl s4, I wish they never canceled this show. NBC, FOX, & SCIFI can all eat a big one for messing with my shows!

Picked up The Hurt Locker BR on the lightning deal, along with Kick Ass and Inglorious Basterds on BR as well. Not too shabby.

Dear Amazon,

I'm really tired and would like to get some sleep this weekend at some point. Please put Scott Pilgrim on sale so I can call it a Black Friday and go on with my life.

Love,
Doppelganger

Lol I am done with Black Friday deals. I got like 15 Blu Rays and the Christmas Collection box set on DVD. I ended it with a purchase of both Kill Bills on BD moments ago :) It's been extremely fun, though :)

I purchased over 40 Blu-Ray Movies and shows so far, let it stop please! EDIT: This is all starting from Monday.

Did i do something wrong. I literally logged onto the black friday deal as the saving private ryan deal was going live and it said 100% was claimed. I did add my name to a waiting list I guess. Anything I need to know about for other deals?

Has anyone been out to Walmart in the late afternoon to hunt for 5.00 Blus? I know one success story doesn't mean much, but it'll inspire me to try my luck. I gotta figure they're all gone.

@Friend of Sonic

I just went to the Walmart down the street about 30 minutes ago and picked up Red Dead Redemption for PS3 and a few $5 blu' - Silence of the Lambs, Heat and Family Guy: Something, Something Dark Side

I bought like 15-16 tv shows. Some in blu and some in dvd.

And only bought 2 movies. Superbad, and LOTR Trilogy. (Both on Blu)

Inspired! I'm going to hit a bunch of Walmarts on the way home.

My girl said people were throwing down at the Wal-Mart near our home.
I see what you did there.
Haha, it wasn't me this time! I rarely go out on BF anymore, amazon does everything for me. I might go out Saturday and search for the scraps though.

Seems like a great price for Twilight Zone.

But hell it's only 4 seasons. Why is the MSRP $300? Even the most expensive current shows MSRP for $60 a season... and usually a full set discount. $200 might be resaonable. Ah well.

Guess I'll keep waiting and hope someone comes to their senses someday. Enjoy the marathons until then.

Twilight Zone Seasons 1 & 2 are available on Blu-ray and 3 is coming early next year. It is unsurprising that Amazon is trying to clear out stock of worthless DVDs.

holy crap, $75 for twilight zone seasons on Blu-Ray. Guess I'll just stick with my tivo recordings for a while. Got 129 recorded so far. another marathon should help me get the rest.

I grabbed the widescreen as soon as the deal went live, then saw everyone grabbing the fullscreen version and wondered if i had made a mistake in which one i picked up lol
I wish Dexter Blu-rays were on sale. I kind of want to get into that show.
ditto. won't pick them up until it's blu

You can stream the first two seasons on Netflix. Awesome show. I agree with shadowkast and won't buy them until there's a deal on the Blus, though.

Believe it or not, a lot of people - mainly older folks - prefer full screen because thats what they're used to. A lot of them still have CRTs and they dislike the black bars even though with widescreen you literally see more of the movie. Even those that have newer TVs do weird things like zoom in on the DVD so there are zero black bars, cropping the picture themselves.
is spartacus worth it?
Hell YES! I loved the first season and can't wait for the prequel to begin in January. Too bad the Spartacus role had to be re-cast for season 2:cry:
is spartacus worth it?
If you like Spartacus, 300, and boobs then yes, it's worth it. The guy who played Spartacus this during the season is getting recast for season 2 since he has cancer. Sad story.

Anyways I enjoyed the show quite a lot. The blonde chick in it doesn't hurt at all either :).

Dude, go, I just went to one in SE Mass and they had all of them.

they had a ton of good stuf fleft in the $5 been when i was at my walmart at around 5:30pm eastern, and some great deals in the $2 bin too. Picked up 6 of the dc animated movies for $2 each.
i don't understand how armored of all things sold out so quickly. That movie sucked major donkey balls.
