Figuired last thread was pretty fragmented and didn't have a Master List so i slapped one togethor.

Most of the credit goes to Kirin Lemon for pointing out how to use the kiosk in store to get these prices.

IN ORDER TO SEE THESE PRICES YOU MUST USE A KIOSK OR COMPUTER INSIDE BESTBUY!!!! Some of these prices will show up on the website normally but not all of em.

Some of the titles appear to be on sale and are around $1-3 cheaper then listed. I've marked those titles with the words ON SALE in bold next to price. No idea how long the sale will last. All the items on sale can be ordered from the website out of store at sale price.

I also added a few new items I found and they are marked with a NEW next to price. If I have time on friday I plan to browse store kiosk and check for some more. If anyone is going to a best buy today can you please check the On Sale items in store and see if the price is different from normal? If not i'll check em tomorow if i have time.
Amazon.com $15.99 - Invader Zim

Deepdiscount.com $18.87 - Invader Zim

Thanks - it's down to $13.99 @ Amazon now.

I was skimming this thread for something completely unrelated, but jumped all over that deal. My gf showed me my first episode of Zim a couple weeks back, and I really liked it, so I'm looking forward to taking in the full set. :)

I bought Invader Zim at Walmart. I enojoy it more now then when it was on TV.

Also, Happy Lesson shipped for me. IF anyone cares, they are still fufilling orders.
I think it's a good price for the first season.
They still have some at one of the stores over here. Do you think it'd be the same price?
I'll check next time I go.

- I bought DraconDrive collection 1 for 14.99. It was mis-stickered. Should I keep it? I've never head of it.
Dragon Drive? It was terrible but it had good op/ed songs... I watched the whole thing just for the songs and regretted it terribly.

You have made the correct decision.

I got this back out this week and still find it to be absolutely amazing. There's so much that is so meticulously done, from the crazy voices to the astounding artwork to the excellent humor.

Seriously one of the best shows ever made.
http://animeondvd.com/

Look around there, I think they do if not they'll probably have a link.
Thanks, but no reviews on Dragon Drive.
I guess I'll probably return it then.

Anyone seen Kaleido Star: New Wings True Star Collection on sale yet?

Dragon Drive is an okay anime. Its a pretty run of the mill adventure/tournament anime. The designs are pretty cool, and some of the characters are somewhat enjoyable, but the story is blase, has been done before, and better.
I liked Dragon Drive. To each his own.
Oh, I didn't hate it. I just didn't love it, and it wasn't worth 8+ hours of my time (and certainly not worth ever watching again). Curse me for liking Mikuni's music...

Dragon Drive is the epitome of mediocreness. It has the distinction of being the only show banned from ever being nominated for viewing at my anime club.

I still haven't watched it.
Most sites give it a 6-7.
www.animenewsnetwork.com

that's the best choice to get an accurate set of opinions from people who've seen a certain anime series in any given language
That is the site that I use, and you can track and rate anime you have seen. It also links to listing of what the other actors/creators have done to help you figure out what might be good to see next.
IMO, these prices are average at best. The pricing may be somewhat decent if you applied a 10% off coupon. You can find better pricing elsewhere (i.e, DeepDisocount.com or TRSI during a studio sale).
Oh. I just posted since I saw them on sale.

10% coupon? I thought it was only on regular price.
Oh. I just posted since I saw them on sale.

That's their regular pricing. List price = retail price. And also Media Blasters and BB has a working relationship, so that they have a 30+% discount off retail price. The 10% off coupons have always worked for me even if the the anime is on sale.
Where is it? Is it the same one on their website?
10% off 3 regular price DVD's?
10% off coupon

It will work on these anime DVDs on sale (at least it has always worked for me) even though technically the coupon is supposed to exclued on-sale items.
Which one do you use? Top of Bottom?
I remember trying to use one of these before, and they said no, since dvd's aren't anywhere on it.
There are 3 coupons listed with the link provided above. Use the 2nd coupon that states SAVE 10% on all regularly priced music, movies, toys, video games and PC games (Any combination, limit 3).

Finally got around to picking up School Rumble 1-4 + tin and Tsubasa 1-4 + box. My local BB has a much smaller anime section than the BB I used to hit, but surprisingly had 2 tins in the store. I thought for sure by now they'd be online only. Hopefully Vols 5+6 for these series will drop at some point.

That is certainly what I am hoping for as well.

I want school rumble dvd 1 + art box but I have horrible luck finding it since I pass on it the first time I saw it on sale.
I'm not really into the "Older" looking animation style.

Is this any good tho?
only if you like robot fighting or know and play Super Robot Taisen J,W.
$13.99 is a steath price plus 10% coupon.

I keep waiting on volume 1+artbox of The Melancholly of Whatever The Crap Her Name Is to drop. My BB has 3 or 4 of those things, and they take up a ton of shelf space.

I jumped on Trinity Blood vol.1
Hopefully it's good.

- Local store has two more Dragon Drive Series Part.1 mis tagged for 14.99, in-case people want it.
It's not!
I would like to hear your opinion regarding why Trinity Blood is not good. Here are some reviews I've stumbled across (haven't had a chance to really read them yet).
You know, Trinity Blood is just like I described in the previous sentence - epic. This is a show that will grab you and no release its grip until the final disc has stopped spinning in your player. The background is fantastic, the characters are interesting, and the various plots throughout the show are well thought out. If you missed it the first time around consider this a second opportunity to see what all the fuss was about. Trinity Blood is a shining piece from GONZO's library and stands out in FUNimation's catalog as a gem. Highly Recommended
I find similar reviews, but I'd still like to hear a CAG's review also.
Either way, I still haven't opened it.
