Until Butterfly719 decides to update his master list or neocisco posts the official list...I think we should just consolidate everything to this new thread. In my experience, yes, that's the way it works. When I got Okami on clearance ($16.96?) it was still labeled as $29.99 or $39.99, but it scanned at the clearance price. I only knew it was on clearance b/c of CAG.

Just got back from CC. I hate my Tallahassee CC. I looked around, no 8.96 bins. I asked a guy...he said it was only the games pictured. I happily pointed out where it says "hundreds of titles to choose from." He said it was only 05-06 sports titles and movie game titles. He then told me to pick any games I might want and they would scan them all.

No thanks, I'm not going to do your job, buddy. I even asked to see a master list...he said "he didn't have one".

Ugh!

The great weakness (conversely strength for us CAGers) is that CC tends to lower the games in the system the week before the sale starts . . . so people may have been buying these games for days at your store.

Anyone remember the greatest clearance of all time? CC in early July 2004 . . . tons of $5 games and they were all cleared out before the flyer appeared . . . it was glorious for those who got in on it.

Actually I have been buying for days.

I was just waiting to see the full "master" list. I have my fair share of pickups already.

Yeah . . . that sale was a potlatch . . . I probably bought 30 and traded 10 and played about 10 of the result. Many became trade-fodder to EB (back when they had some great tradein deals) which at least doubled my value. And some I still have sealed . . . for really no reason ;-)

Went to the CC in Spanish Springs, NV last night and came back with quite a few games. So if anybody needs some of these hit me up and shoot me a PM. Im looking for Armored Core 4 for PS3 which I waited on, when I first saw it and now can't find another one. 2 of these games were pulled from a bin I found the rest still on the shelf and most haven't been marked down yet.

i was able to find a def jam icon if you are interested. Already sold my ac 4 but I might be able to get another at a different cc.

Also have an extre parappa the rapper and chili con carnage available for psp and just cause and project sylphed for 360 to anyone thats interested..
 
Just called my second local CC. Said they had one copy of Condemned and Tiger Woods. I think he just wanted me to rush over there, but I guess he'll get what he wants. I'll see what I can dig up while i'm there.

id say full auto 2 is worth 9 bucks, not much to say about it, car guns and explosions. Havent played untold legends.
 
Here in lansing, MI, there was hardy anything. Out of the 360 games, they only had Call of Duty 2.:cry: I picked up "Just Cause"for $14.99, but that was it.

Both are easily worth the price listed. Untold Legends is fine if you want a hack and slash. Full Auto 2 is just like Full Auto, but slightly improved.

Moto GP 07 for 360 should be added to the list, though it may be YMMV. I got it at the Jersey City, NJ Circuit City from the clearance bin. It rang up at $49.99 but after a quick discussion with the clerk he knocked it down to $8.96, so I figure that's gotta be worth it.

For anyone in the area I noticed Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year, Madden 06, Tiger Woods 06, NBA 2K6, NBA Live 06, Eragon, Final Fantasy XI for 360 (and one or two others I can't think of right now); only Tiger Woods 06 for PSP; and, among a bunch of other stuff, every game that I know of in the EA Sports 2007 line for PS2.

I got Elite Beat Agents, Project Sylpheed, and the last copy of Okami.

I was able to pick up an extra Project Sylpheed. I'll let it go for cost + shipping & gas, of anyones looking for it.
 
I was hoping that there were actually some new $8.96 clearance titles...there weren't.

Just for the hell of it, I asked where the "100's of titles to choose from" were at.

The response I got was the add was "marketing speak" and that the majority of the "100's of titles" were probably already sold out before the add was even posted. In other words they advertised the clearance that's been going on forever.

How much do you want to bet the rumored Best Buy thing coming up is the same BS?
 
Two CC's I visited yesterday had the stuff in bins just sitting around, went back today and the exact same stuff. If anyone has an extra God Hand shoot me a pm, only one I couldn't find

I really enjoyed Full Auto 2 - had it a while back & traded it in. Thought about picking it back up for $9, but the truth is I'll never touch it again once Burnout Paradise comes out, so it would be a waste of $9 for me.

Untold Legends wasn't very good at all imo, and I wouldn't buy it at any price unless I was really desperate for something to play - and how many CAG'ers *really* need something else to play?
 
so can anyone confirm if just cause is 8.96 because i really want it and oddly i cant get it for 15 dollars. also if any one lives in miami, can u tell me if they have it in stock


i mean the 360 version of it
 
Lunar Knights still rang up at $16.96, didn't want it that bad. I don't think they changed any prices today at all...they just finally advertised to the general public what we've known about all along. Meh.
