Until Butterfly719 decides to update his master list or neocisco posts the official list...I think we should just consolidate everything to this new thread. With the sale being advertised next week, there's bound to be a ton of great finds. Any case if mods disapprove, feel free to delete this. Cheers!

I'm going to grab a fistful of games today and probably take some others to the counter just for a price check. I love these sales since I can get a less than stellar game for around 9 bucks. Games like Gun, which I bought on Black Friday for 5 bucks, didn't get great reviews but I absolutely adored it. I think I can appreciate these types of games more when I haven't spent 60 bucks on them.

Huh. The CC I checked had a bunch of Phoenix Wright: Justice for All at $8.96. That and several copies of FFV. Otherwise, slim pickings.

I bought Tomb Raider Legend (360) at Circuit City last night and it rang up for $16.96, which is the price that was listed in the OP. Did it scan as $8.96? Or did you have to get them to manually adjust the price, and if so, how did you convince them it should be $8.96? It's not one of the titles shown in today's ad, and I wouldn't know how to prove it's one of the "hundreds of titles" covered by the $8.96 price.
 
Just went to the cc in Trumbul, ct. I picked up Star Ocean 3, Yakuza, Onimusha, and contact. I was debating FFV, but I figure the DS remake is on the way.
Alas, Lunar Knights rang up 16.99, or however much.

Also: None of the games are properly marked, and three of the ones I picked up (SO3, Onimusha, and contact) weren't even in the bin.
 
Just got back from 2 CC's. One had hardly anything (North Ave near Sheffield), but the first one I when to (Elston Ave) had three bins. A few Phoenix Wright: And Just For All, Parrappa the Rapper, and the usual sports titles as well as the kiddie GBA games. Otherwise nothing else.

My only score was Projest Sylpheed (Xbox 360). Since I already have a copy, this one is now up on my trade list.
 
The two in Jacksonville had almost nothing and as usual - shit for customer service. They are starting to remind me of CompUSA more and more, wonder how long till they start closing stores/going out.
 
Just got back from the Blaine and Maple Grove CCs. About what I would have expected: Blaine didn't have much of anything (btw, I was just looking for 360 games, so that's all I really paid attention to), no bins, and hardly anything from the list that I was interested in, except for some sports titles. Picked up NBA 2K7 and College Hoops 2K7; might have been the last copy of each. Tomb Raider Legend rang up for 16.96. As far as other games, there were plenty of copies of NCAA Football 2007, and I think I saw some CoD2. Otherwise, not much.

Much better selection at Maple Grove, although even more messily sorted. Had a few bins, a couple with 8.96 games (they were writing up some stickers for some PS2 games while I was there), but no 360 bin. Pawed through all the games in the 360 section and ended up with Far Cry and Tiger Woods 07. They had one more copy of Far Cry (case was cracked, though); not sure about Tiger 07. Also had multiple copies of Bullet Witch, one of Chromehounds, I think most of the sports titles, some CoD2 and Meet the Robinsons. Didn't see Gun or Quake 4.

Its ymmv, my cc manager was smart enough to know it meant any games on clearence for 16.96 should be reduced to 8.96. You just have to show them the add and cross your fingers.

I work at CC and I have the entire list of all the games that are on sale
because I had to go through and mark the ones down that were in the list

I cannot post the official list due to a NDA however.

and there are about 300 different games on sale for all systems

including PS3, Wii, 360, XBX, PS2, DS, GBA, GameBoy Color, Dream Cast

PS1 (yes, PS1 if you can find the stores that have these, the PS1 games are $0.01

PS2 has some titles that are 1penny as well as DreamCast and GBColor

Some of our stores still have DreamCast, GameBoy Color and PS1 games, you just have to find them!

Edit: Tomb Raider for Xbox 360 is listed on our list for $16.96

That store is great for finding stuff that's clearanced but still shows the original sticker price on it. Used to live close to the mall. I'm pretty sure that Star Ocean has been there for months and the Onimusha since at least November as I went there when I was at my mom's for Thanksgiving.

The guy said 'sorry, only certain games in the clearance bin are actually $8.96'.

I may go back later and see if there's someone else working there who might be a little more 'helpful'.

Not sure on the others, but I know there were at least 2 Children of Mana copies at one of the local CCs on Thursday.
 
I got to CC and no more condemned =(. He said they still had a copy of Tiger 07 but I couldn't find it anywhere. I had to settle for the only 360 game left in the bin @ 8.96 - Top Spin 2 which I guess you can add to the list.

My CC just opened a few before Thanksgiving ..it is one of the worst shopping exp I can remember.

They did have a rack behind the registers with the add displaying the few games thay did have..

I was only shopping for 360 games so the choices were even fewer
I found
XB360 Bullet Witch - about 12 copys ..I passed
XB360 Tiger Woods 07 - 2 copys ..I got 1
XB360 Project Sylpheed - about 5 copys ..pased
XB360 Lego Bionicle ..5 copys ..passed
XB360 Meet the Robinsons ..8 copys ..I got 1

Tomb Raider Legend rang up as 16.96
COD 2 = 29.96 ..I skipped those

In the locked Case I found a ESA Foundation 3 pack
with Cars - Open Season - Fusion Frenzy 2 for 29.99
I got that ...figured those are worth $10 each

All the rest in the list for 360 were Gone
I think I did ok 5 games for $50 ..thanks for the Heads up on this deal
 
I found a copy of pokemon emerald in the bin. Rang up as 35, but after saying that I found it in the clearance bin the dude shrugged his shoulders and rang it up at the 8.96 price.
 
my circuit city sucked. everything was not even moved from the normal clearance section. also, nothing was marked down from the original prices. the guy gave me a hassle when i wanted to certain games scanned and told me that the DS games weren't even clearanced.

i noticed that there was a 50% strat guide sale, so to my luck i found a rogue galaxy guide. knowing it was pennied, i did not want to push my luck, so i wanted to snag it for $10. the lady at the customer service desk gave me a huge hassle trying to even get it scanned in at $20. then she told me she was only going to give it to me for $20, i mentioned that they all were half off. rudely, she asked another employee to make sure the sign was not "expired", he ignored her request and she rang it up for $10.

afterwards, i gave her my checkcard to pay for the items i got, and she said it was DENIED. i mentioned to her that it was a checkcard and it's impossible to be denied, even though i knew it just worked at another store. she kept saying denied, even though i can tell she was canceling the transaction everytime she scanned it. so luckily my girlfriend gave me cash to pay for my items. i went over to my banks ATM, checked my balance and withdrew some cash, and voila no problems with my card.

all in all my trip sucked major ass. first none of the games are marked or organized. second, i get hassled for trying to get a guide half off. third, the stupid ass customer service lady tries to say my checkcard is denied, a blatant lie.

this reminds me why i dont shop at circuit shitty

Can anyone tell me the UPC for CoD2 that is $8.96.

I got a copy on the 4th with UPC 047875809376 and I called today to ask for the price of the game today and it is still $29.99.

I didn't find anything I wanted. There was an ebayer (overheard him) buying alot of games though,lol, at the profit he'll make. They had some of the discounted games behind the CS counter. Anyone find condemed?

Was looking for Farcry Instincts

Hit one CC no luck, but they did have an Elder Scrolls GOTY marked at $29.99. I passed on it.

Went to another and found the last copy of Farcry and picked it up.

I just got back. I didn't get to look at the list, but I talked to the guy working and he told me he was about done changing all the games on the list to 8.96. They were all in a rack by the register in the game department. Their was nothing noteworthy. Lots of old DBZ, Need for Speed, terrible gamecube games, old sports titles, the games listed on the front of this thread that are 8.96. Sorry guys, but from what I saw their was nothing good.
 
Nothing at the Harbison CC in Columbia SC. They looked barren, the 360 games I looked at had new orange stickers (looked very Dollar General, ghetto, discount store) that were about $10 off normal prices. And I didn't see many customers buying much, item here item there kinda traffic. Their TV's Section looks very thrown on the wall and power supplied. I left feeling sorry for CC and felt like I was living a Flea Market...:D

I know Circuit Shitty hasn't been known for it's customer service and has been having financial challenges but by the look of this store, I don't see it staying open much longer.

I, too, searched the Harbison Store yesterday. Found Bullet Witch and Sylpheed. Shoulda pounced on it, but hoped the Two Notch store was better. I was wrong.

The stupid cashier at Two Notch tried telling me they wouldn't have the master list until tomorrow...for a sale that seems to have started last week? Gimme a break.

Well, I picked up only a couple of titles:

NBA 07 PS3 $8.96
Bullet Witch Xbox 360 $8.96

These were the only copies I saw at the Dearborn, MI CC and it's sad because most of what is on clearance isn't marked as such. Bullet Witch for example still had a $49.99 price tag on it and never was marked down to $16.96 tag wise. NBA 07 did have a $16.96 tag on it though. The only thing I really wanted was Def Jam Icon PS3 but they only had for 360 and the 360 version isn't on clearance.
 
Hey mercilessming or anyone that went to the Harbison sotre in SC, did you see any copies of Phoenix Wright there?
 
my cc had a whole section of CRAP. picked up tony hawk wasteland for 360 (8.96), didnt want to leave empty handed. saw tons of bomberman. very sad.
 
Just got back from CC. I got Parappa and *gasp* Yakuza for 8.96. I could not BELIEVE I found Yakuza. Man my best find in a long, long time. I have been wanting this game forever.

Also if anyone is interested, the lady working at CC had a list and was pulling out DS games. I managed to see the list real quick and some GC was clearanced. The stand out titles from the page I saw was Megaman X Collection and one of the Donkey Konga games, for 8.96.

Tell your management this sale is in the weekly ad in every CC store and major newspaper in the country, and posted on their website.

I think it's disclosed.

But we'll keep it hush-hush among us CAGs, now that we know how sensitive it is. :roll:

Look another Columbia shopper!

The CC on Two Notch road had plenty of COD2s but not much else. I was able to get COD2 for 8.96 too btw...
 
My CC was very confused. A man and his wife said that they told him everything $19.99 and under was $8.96. The only games that rang up at that price were Elite Beat Agents and Children of Mana. I had Justice for All--it rang up at $16.96. There were also two bins of mostly PC games with some good stuff. They said they were part of the sale but all rang up at sticker price. I was told everything was priced according to the sticker price right after getting Elite Beat Agents with a sticker of $16.96 at $8.96.
 
just got back from my local CC stores.

bought Final Fantasy IV and V (GBA) for $8.96 each, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 (360) at $16.86

i asked the manager and he let me look at 4 pages of clearanced games. most of them are CRAP. about one and a half page are Xbox games, NFS, Jade Empire...

i wanted MGS Acid! and MGS Acid 2 at $8.96 each but all out.
there is no COD2 on the list, 360 or Xbox.

if you wanna see the complete lists, ask the manager
 
NDX XBOX 360, nobody would have known that you worked for CC unless you told us. So, actually you could have posted the list and not stated that you work at CC to keep yourself out of trouble.
 
Hey, lay off the guy who doesn't want to post the list. I would love to see the complete list too, but seriously, they could loose their job over posting it. You can't be mad for the person for not wanting to endanger their job.
 
I got to the westside Albuquerque location around 10:40am. A friend from work got off at 1010am, and he had a lot better luck in those 20 minutes between our shifts than I did.
